Why would it be unreasonable?

Most of the pushchairs we had for our kids were blue, dark blue mostly, because I like blue. We also had one red and one grey. 1 DD and 1 DS.

Only colours I would refuse to have would be pink because I don't like it, or white/cream because it would get filthy. Hmm

Yanbu. I dress dd in the boys jeans and jumpers from tesco or asda or whatever as they a) are lined and b) exist.
Try finding a normal jumper for a girl. It's all frippery and twee pictures. Gah

Everyone will assume she's a boy. I have had countless old biddies asking me what his name is even though dd has a pink snowsuit on. I bought a navy pushchair for ds1, because I liked the colour rather than 'blue for a boy' and I haven't seen fit to replace it. Buy it if constantly correcting people won't piss you off.

Waiting for someone to tell us how blue was once a girl's colour and boys and girls used to wear dresses, though. Nice variant on "DS wants to dress as Elsa from Frozen" though.

Thanks ladies Grin I have a yellow one at the mo but need to replace the hood and footmuff...I love the blue colour but my friend balked when I said I wanted to get it for my DD! I thought it was a strange reaction, but I can imagine getting fed up of people asking how old 'he' is etc...

This blue stuff is weird, you must admit. As a baby and little girl, I had very red hair. I was never dressed in pink ever as it clashed wildly with my hair, and also I didn't like pink. My favourite colour and the one I wore a lot was blue. I'm not aware that anyone thought I was a boy.

Actually as a child of the 70s, I was equally often dressed in brown, mustard and sludge green, but that's by the by.

Is it the pale blue bugaboo colour one? Of so, it is lovely and completely fine for a girl or boy.

My only thought would be light blue, think that will get dirty pretty fast.
