Seems a little over the top having a fight but surely this just goes to show people need to deal with kids on flights?

Or maybe it goes to show people need to be tolerant, am sure it wasn't fun for the mother that her baby was reclining without other passengers having a go and then reclining their seats to further cramp the space she had to deal with the baby.

Yep, she should have taken the baby outside to calm down.

Anyone who tells a mother to shut her baby up is an arsehole.

Anyone who reclines their seat when there is a stressed mother with a crying baby behind them is an arsehole.

They may have had the right to recline their seats but this does not stop them from being selfish arseholes.

It was a two hour flight fgs it's not like you need to sleep. If you can see the person behind you is having s hard time with a fractious baby why would you recline your seat giving them less space to be able to deal with that?

What would you like people to do with their their children on flights gag or drug them? Or should people with children just not travel?

Sometimes you just need to suck it up.

As for reclining their chairs yes they had the right to do so but it seems to have been an act of retaliation.

Am I the only person who just locks there arm striaght, against the back of the seat in front so the person thinks their seat won't recline. Can't be doing with idiots who recline their seat without looking to see who is behind them, and if its practical. Yes they may have the right but if someone sticks their head under my chin I will rest my drink and book on it, I mean what choice do you have.

Not clicked the link, but I doubt the mum was egging the baby on, being stck in close quarters with a crying kid is no fun for anyone.

You ever seen a kid react the other way on Phenergan? Not something you'd wanr near you on a flight.

Plus, drugging a kid for a short flight? I won't even consider it for long-haul.

Actually it just goes to show that people need to learn to be more tolerant of babies crying. It is not a well kept secret that babies might be on the plane and that they might indeed cry.

I've never heard a crying baby that bothered me as much as the adult man who sat behind me on a coach trip abroad who'd converted to Islam whilst in prison for GBH, and who wanted to share the good news.

I don't take mine on planes. I leave them at home. They have their own mini fridge, it's fine
