to think the Apprentice must be extremely edited this year- Suggs' decisions seem frankly bizarre

Just that really, I know there is already an Apprentice fred but I just needed to unleash the wrath before we all moved on to the final. Is it me or must Sugar and Nick and even lovely Karen have been watching something completely different to me? Some of their decisions and comments seem nonsensical. I mean the whole Daniel thing boggles my mind... He seems a deluded, ridiculous, irritating, misogynistic- I could go on! And yet he was given chance after chance after chance after chance? DS and DD think Alan sees a good hard working Jewish boy like himself and so pushed him through. The fact that he was fired after Roisin (sp?)infuriates me like nothing else.
Does anyone else feel the same? AIBU? I just feel like it must have been hugely edited, this series more than the previous ones, because the decisions dont seem to make sense. I need closure! And if anyone knows what Roisin is doing now, I need to know she's doing alright even though she was robbed Xmas Angry

DHs boss's DD works for Kaen. Apparently she's a fantastic boss.

Moln · 20/12/2014 11:22

It's all a bit stupid - surely they should like all the business plans at the get go and then base it on the actual person.

Mark shouldn't be in the final if it were based like this.

Eminybob · 20/12/2014 11:24

YY to pp saying that they shouldn't be on there if their business plan is crap. I mean, do they not get read before shortlisting the candidates? Obviously it's all for entertainment purposes but come on! I was shouting at the telly last week what a waste of bloody time!

pictish · 20/12/2014 11:32

I really, truly do NOT want Mark to win. He's a sneaky, underhand, manipulative, oily bastard. I can't bear him. Team Bianca all the way!

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 20/12/2014 11:54

I wish that we knew about their business plans at the beginning.
I liked Roisin
hope Bianca wins.

Ohmygrood · 20/12/2014 12:04

A blond Irish woman won last year, so Rosin was doomed right at the start.
I'm team Bianca, but I like Mark purely because he was great at winding up Daniel.

Ohmygrood · 20/12/2014 12:06

Did anyone else think that Dara was struggling to get his words out when he began to interview Roisin?
She looked stunning and he seemed a bit overawed by her at first!

pictish · 20/12/2014 12:10

I actually felt really sorry for Daniel with the hot tub business. Thought Mark was a selfish, devious cunt, sneakily wrestling that away from him.
I can understand why it stuck in Daniel's craw so badly.

Mind you - Daniel and Felipe's public rowing at the country show was brilliant.

I liked Felipe.

CalamityKate1 · 20/12/2014 12:26

Has anyone been following The Mighty Mighty Monkseal blog on this? Well worth a read! :-D

MrsMarcJacobs · 20/12/2014 12:46

Oh it's all pre determined - mark f*cked up royally, he should have been booted but they obviously had chosen him as a finalist already. I do think the candidates are edited to make them look a certain way - I quite like Daniel.

Mrsgrumble · 20/12/2014 12:59

The postcode error by Bianca (Westminster) game invention episode was an immediately stackable one IMO

I can't believe she stayed.

Roisin was excellent but overconfident in her plan. Biancas plan is excellent though.

Katie going to best long term I would say

Buttercupsanddaisys · 20/12/2014 14:04

Was so disappointed with Katie's ready meals plan too. She seemed such a great person for a new venture, such an asset to any team, but why oh why was it the food industry? She didn't even know basic ingredients. And again, so disappointed with Roisins plan too.

Bianca's plan, tho. Now that's one that's got legsWink in our multi racial and coloured society, surely it's got to be a winner?

Team Bianca here.

NotDavidTennant · 20/12/2014 14:21

I'd love to see more of their business plans. For instance, why did Kate need £250k just to open a restaurant in Sunderland?

windchime · 20/12/2014 14:50

The 'boardroom' is an office block in Milton Keynes which they rent part of for the scenes. The woman who answers the phone 'to show the candidates in' is a production assistant. The series was filmed in March. The candidates are kept away from each other until the first appearance in the boardroom. The suitcases really do contain their belongings. A friend of mine works on the crew.

Buttercupsanddaisys · 20/12/2014 15:43

I wish I could hire one of them to pack my case, then. I need a low-loader just for my aids to beautyGrin

Thanks for the receptionist info. I'd wondered why they changed year on year.

So far my best moment was when Roisin was haggling the price of a diamond in Hatton Garden. That trader was positively drooling over her and did that nervous lip licking thing....or was that sucking up the drool? I bet his wife was not happy.

JoanHickson · 20/12/2014 15:52

We call Mark "The Jedi". I would not want to have Mark in my business, personal life of life of anyone who was. I will be shocked if Sugar doesn't go with Bianca.

If Roisin had a better business plan she would have won.

MyBaby1day · 21/12/2014 08:15

Lovely Karren?, I could say more.................. Hmm

Fabulassie · 21/12/2014 10:09

I read once that there's a spare contestant we don't see. They're there in case a main contestant doesn't work out, in which case we see the version edited to include them. How this can be boggles the mind, but it shows how fake the whole thing is.
