I predict it will be hilarious, and horrifying, in equal measure.

Popcorn anyone?

Chop

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 11/12/2014 23:35

Oh just seen it was Russell. I think the long hair makes him sexy, and guys with long hair aren't my type,

Bakeoffcakes · 11/12/2014 23:35

I cant take the Conservative woman seriously, as she thought it would be funny to slip rude words into a HoC speech. She's a silly twat.

MrsToddsShortcut · 11/12/2014 23:36

I'd be interested to find out who asked him on to the panel. Are the panellists approached? He just seemed so completely and utterly unprepared.

BeHoHoHove · 11/12/2014 23:36

Blonde woman in the audience - so all middle class people are bullies? Good for you earning more than all of them now. idiot woman

LineRunner · 11/12/2014 23:37

She might lose to Ukip in May.

CatWreathkeith · 11/12/2014 23:37

Good school? No, he vaguely attended The Grays School. Grin

I knew him at primary school, and then bumped into him again late teens/early 20's.

I think I'm a bit behind you all

Bakeoffcakes · 11/12/2014 23:38

Russell will now be trying to cop off with the lady in redWink

LineRunner · 11/12/2014 23:38

RB on a trailer now.

ouryve · 11/12/2014 23:38

No it's not, mutton. I've been mulling on CC's foundation garment fail. If she educated herself on MN, she wouldn't have the armpit bulge in that close fitting dress,

Bakeoffcakes · 11/12/2014 23:39

Mrs Todd, they don't know the questions in advance, so it would be hard to prepare for everything which comes up.

TheBogQueen · 11/12/2014 23:39

Oh CC had the worst seat for camera angles

CatWreathkeith · 11/12/2014 23:40

In his defence, last week he was back in our home town, reading to year 7's in the local theatre, as a favour to his old school to promote literacy. Unpaid, and no press. He comes across as a tool, but I think he means well.

He was bullied terribly all the way through school. I think that's where the craving for adulation comes from.

He's a bit of a little boy lost underneath all the twattery.

Grin and on than note..

SteamTrainsRealAleandOpenFires · 11/12/2014 23:42

I thought that the audience were a bit hostile to most of the panel though...and good for them. Grin

arethereanyleftatall · 11/12/2014 23:45

Brand was terrible, own agenda with no ability to respond to the question; farage looked like a smug arse; camilla good but earrings too large. Lady with long hair was rubbish.
My nachos were good.
I wonder how many people on mn have shagged rb.

furcoatbigknickers · 11/12/2014 23:48

Cc earrings looked like milky buttons

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 11/12/2014 23:49

He is a nasty little cock, spouting anything that feeds into his grubby little fantasy of being carried shoulder high by 'the people' into Downing Street.

Grin
furcoatbigknickers · 11/12/2014 23:53

Grammar schools are full of the middle classes and x private scholl children. at least dds is tou get great bday gifts

MrsToddsShortcut · 11/12/2014 23:53

No, I agree, but, if I was appearing on QT, I'd be swotting up on all the major news stories because that's how it works. It's the same format week in week out. He must have known that, unless he's never watched it?

Also, if you are on a panel with NF, it should be obvious the debate is going to go a particular way. He really didn't do his homework. It's a pity as it feels like he's blown a really big opportunity to get people to take him seriously.

TheLastThneed · 12/12/2014 00:08

I thought I liked RB before this. He was totally out of his depth. He just comes along pre-loaded with lots or wordy sentences and spouts them out whenever he can. Is it just me, or did he avoid answering any questions directly.

He was talking crap, was he not?

beavington · 12/12/2014 00:09

RB annoyed me because he is capable of doing better. He could have given good responses to the questions he was asked but he veered too much and went on about the bigger picture ehich seemed staged. He delivered some good quips and highlighted important things but this is just something i despise that politicians do. Pretending the question was something else so that you can say what you want to say.

Dont know why people get at him so much though. Were all allowed an opinion and its good to see a public figure so outspoken about the worst things in our society. If you disagree with our government why do people think you are obliged to stand as an MP? Why are you expected to have the answers? He should have given this as a response rather than that he didnt want to become one of 'them' which just sounded pathetic.

Madamecastafiore · 12/12/2014 00:15

He isn't capable of doing better, he was out of his depth from the get go.
