Every time I have sampled one I have decided it is a piece of under-baked chocolate cake. I don't see the appeal.

I have similar misgivings about carrot cake. Call me old-fashioned but I thought cakes were made from flour, fat and sugar. Not root vegetables.

I like them in theory but most of the time they are dry and unpleasant.
I hve recently discovered someone near me who makes them with a cheesecake topping and they are delish

Yabu! I love the squidgey semi cooked brownie but then I'm not very keen on cake, much prefer it uncooked.
Really chocolatey fudgey brownies with no flour and plenty of melted dark chocolate are amazing!

A well made moist brownie is lovely, dry crap one not so much. I don't like chips which for some reason makes people tilt their heads and give me a funny look. Cant help it! I hate chips!

I like chocolate brownie but not chocolate cake. We're not required to all like the same things.

I like chocolate but don't like chocolate flavoured things. Yanbu
