To not slap George Osborne in the face should I meet him

Belleende · 03/12/2014 18:17

Now mn I think we can all agree that Osborne is a smug faced greasy ass spawn of Satan. He is top of my list of faces I'd love to slap. In fact he may top my all time list beating even Renee zig weirder (I like that auto correct am keeping it, sure you will figure it out).

However, Satan's spawn has just saved me the guts of £4K on a house purchase. What with that, and it being the season of gooD will, I am thinking that should I happen upon him, WIBU to refrain from giving him a good slap. I think maybe until the new year then all bets are off.

His policies are killing vulnerable people

If ever there was a reason to move from mild mannered to calling someone a cunt ^ is it!!

MetellaEstMater · 03/12/2014 21:26

Personally I would prefer to walk on his face with some particularly spiky dominatrix style stilettoes......

He's a Tory MP. He'd enjoy that far too much.

Letthemtalk · 03/12/2014 21:27

I would happily pay £4k to slap him.

Zeezeek Who spilt the beans to you about what he really enjoys?

MindReader · 03/12/2014 21:33

I think people CAN see past their own front doors.
It's just if their door is expensive and glossy and secure, they don't care that others don't even have doors...

Not ALL people with thick shiny doors feel / behave this way of course.
But those behind No 10 and No 11 do.

Tobyjugg · 03/12/2014 21:36

I love the old, old stories of my childhood. Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff, Tory Chancellors giving something away before a tough election.

If the Tories win the next election, 10/1 all these "cuts" are re-imposed and more besides.

Love the slimy fish idea MissPenelope

Bodicea · 03/12/2014 21:36

I know people are winging about tax cuts. I don't mind tax but it should be fair and even across the board. Stamp duty was worked out in a grossly unfair, cliff edge way. For paying not much over £250,000 instead of just under we paid £8000 instead of £4000 stamp duty three years ago. That nearly killed us. This was a modest famy home. Ridiculous. Wish the changes were backdated.

Bodicea · 03/12/2014 21:38

Wingeing!!!

meglet · 03/12/2014 21:53

Ah hakluyt I'd forgotten how wonderful that booing was.

OP - yabu. Please still slap him. I'm sure there are some shit hot lawyers on here who could get you off.

I don't want taxes cut, I'd rather there was more money to support vulnerable people and vital services. The man's an odious little fart.

WipsGlitter · 03/12/2014 21:56

It will just create another housing bubble.

AmberLav · 03/12/2014 21:57

My 3 year old DS made me turn off the TV when GO came on - he took a complete dislike to his face! He seemed okay with DC, but GO got an immediate reaction!

DoubleValiumLattePlease · 03/12/2014 22:01

The thing is with him - and Cameron for that matter - is that I just bet they have really small and really pink penises. They just do. Both of them.

These are the things that keep me awake at night! Grin

I'm not sure that George's penis keeps anyone awake at night!

Only himself!

How much was the property? @£400k there's no saving, @£250k there's no change, where's the sweet spot.
Genuine question, haven't had time to do the maths but I think this will crucify most London buyers.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 03/12/2014 22:18

I'd slap him just because he was involved in a dirty dream I had of DC. I feel dirty and not in a good way.

And please dont talk about GO's tiny wart encrusted flacid penis.

stillstandingatthebusstop · 03/12/2014 22:18

I wouldn't slap GO if I ever met him but I'd like to send him into some kind of parallel universe where he could experience the consequences of his cuts - particularly the cuts to local government, because councils are having to cut vital services.

So, he could spend 7 weeks in the summer looking after my autistic DS3 without a break because of cuts to respite care. He could become a vulnerable old person in his own home who had fleeting visits from overworked carers and no other contact with the outside world. He could become a person who'd had their benefits stopped for no good reason and had no money to buy food. He could become young adult leaving care and have to live through the consequences of not able to claim housing benefit until he was 25 years old. It could go on and on. . .

Flibbertyjibbet · 03/12/2014 22:26

There may be savings on stamp duty for many people but the estate agents are already rubbing their hands with glee predicting house prices will rise.
So no actual saving in what people end up paying out when they buy.

YABU.
That fantastic saving is my pension.

Belleende · 03/12/2014 23:20

OK having taken all your sage words into consideration, on balance there will be no slap amnesty. I think I would indeed pay £4K for the privilege, I reckon I could crowd fund that, plus a reserve for legal fees in apx 17 seconds. I maintain that it will be a slap as it is as much about the satisfaction I will feel as the damage it would cause. I accept his skin will have the feel of the skin on top of day old custard.
amber your three year old has the wisdom of yoda. Watch that little one he will go far.
tali you need help my love. GO in the bedroom is not a good sign. Off to relationships with you.
Renee, budge up love calloh is joining the list.
And for the love of god can we please refrain from all future mentions of the GO member. You can take things too far ladies.

Geeze there is a miserable lot on here. He is merely fixing something that which should have been set right a long time ago. The step changes in stamp duty always created artificial barriers in the market, such as discouraging people from renovating who were near a threshold and putting off buyers on properties that were only just over.

Samcro · 03/12/2014 23:51

he is a w%%%%%
but I wouldn't slap him.....have thought about this
I would run him over with dd's wheelchair
