Oh, I love Gladys. I've been watching back older series, and there's a flashback one to when Pheobe was living with Monica, the camera pans out and shows the painting near the front door. I always wondered where she lived.

Not funniest but most touching is most definitely Pheobes wedding. Love how happy she is. I also like the getting ready chair-clothes-message one. On the DVD it has the commentary with the creators, it's them who say they made that episode to save money. It's also one of the few to be filmed in real time- the length of the episode is how long they actually had to get ready.

Jill2015 · 02/12/2014 20:05

^^ I love the one...

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 02/12/2014 20:05

*Phoebe even

Mammanat222 · 02/12/2014 20:07

All my fave's are Ross episodes.

My Sandwich
The Sofa (we recently had trouble getting a sofa out of new place and even the removal guys were saying "PIVOT" lol)
The white teeth
Spray tan
The one with Fajitas
The one where he gives Mona a key and changes the lock

I could watch any of those episodes over again.

Not keen on many episodes prior to the season Monica and Chandler got together though, prefer the later ones.

Mammanat222 · 02/12/2014 20:11

Also love the leather trousers one!

It's odd all my fave episodes are Ross ones when I would say Phoebe is my fave character.

Agree her wedding is a great episode, also love Paul Rudd's character.

AryaUnderfoot · 02/12/2014 20:13

The one where Chandler has to buy a ticket to Yemen to avoid Janice.

Camsie30 · 02/12/2014 20:15

Yes yes yes! The One Where Nobody is Ready! The cushions are the essence, I got the hummus, I'm breezy..... Best one ever!!!!

Aherdofmims · 02/12/2014 20:16

I like the one with the lesbian wedding.

Where Phoebe is possessed by a dead old lady who won't leave her alone until she has seen everything.

When the vicar/pastor says "we are hear to join this woman and this woman in holy matrimony" she says "now I've seen everything!" and departs.

CrapBag · 02/12/2014 20:19

The one where Mike says he's going to change his name to CrapBag (funnily enough Grin). "Think of a bag of crap"

The one where Chandler can't cry and he says "it was so sad when they stopped drawing the deer.

Barbados, Vegas (except for the annoying hand twin crap), the ones with special guests. The one where Phoebe meets Mikes parents. The routine. The one where Monica is organising Phoebe's wedding. I love Monica, I so identify with her Grin.

Funnily enough I don't like the pivot one and I HATE the one where Joey speaks French. Its one of the worst ones of all and not funny.

CrapBag · 02/12/2014 20:21

Oh yeah all the ones where Chandler can't break up with Janice. Yemen in particular was great (Joey "well thanks for telling me!!")

RoundRobinSparkles · 02/12/2014 20:33

I love the one in the second series where Phoebe cuts Monica's hair.

"Relax, I know what I'm doing. This is how he wears it!"
"How who wears it?"
"Demi Moore"
"Demi Moore is not a he!"
"Well he was a he in Arthur and in dead!"
"That's DUDLEY Moore!"

tealover1985 · 02/12/2014 20:34

The one where Ross and rachel are having a massive fight and the others are all stuck in Monicas bedroom.

I also love the apartment quiz one.

the poker episode. I generally love all the ones where Ross loves rachel but she doesn't know yet.

Zippidydoodah · 02/12/2014 20:38

Is the famous one where no one is ready, the one when Ross shouts out "What gets out houmous?! What gets out houmous?!" Hahaha!

wickedlazy · 02/12/2014 20:41

The one that could have been, where Phoebe is a stock broker and smoker, Monica is still over weight, Chandler was a writer, carol didn't leave Ross, Rachel married Barry and Joey wasn't fired from days of our lives.

FestiveElf · 02/12/2014 20:42

Yesss to so many of the above - still laugh out loud moments!

One of the early ones where they keep throwing a ball all day - simple, but great and has the weird cat that hisses "Rachel" or she thinks it does ("that is not a cat!").

HuggleBuggleBear · 02/12/2014 20:48

I loved friends in the 90's. I prefer the early seasons. Ones I love:
Poker episode
One when no one is ready
When they play football
When joey gets in the TV cabinet to prove he can fit
Episodes with Eddie
When Ross tries to tell Rachel he loves her and a cat jumps on his head

ReginaBlitz · 02/12/2014 20:51

"omg this plane doesnt even have a falange"! kills me everytime that episode.

tealover1985 · 02/12/2014 20:56

Omg when that cat jumps on Ross head and the others are all singing we're on top of the world, love this scene!

Where monica and rachel have to pretend to be each other - I love all the old ones

AnathemaIsANiceNameForAGirl · 02/12/2014 20:57

The brad pitt one is never one

Funnily enough, that is one of the ones that is GUARANTEED to be on whenever I happen to switch on Comedy Central. Totally agree though there are some episodes you've seen a gazillion times and others that never seem to crop up at all. Weird.

I saw the one with Chandler's photo face the other day, hadn't seen that for ages. DP is like that with photos Grin

BooDidIScareYou · 02/12/2014 22:07

the one with Ross and Isabella Rossellini and 'the list'

Mia1415 · 02/12/2014 22:16

I love them all & never get bored of watching them. I can see me still watching friends when I'm 80

Peedie · 02/12/2014 22:22

The one where Pheobe comes onto Chandler to prove that's he is with Monica, and he has to unbutton her top.

CrimboHornedSnowflake · 02/12/2014 22:22

The humidity and Monica's hair

I howl with laughter at the one where Monica gets a doll's house and Phoebe brings her over a GIANT dog and a tissue to use as a ghost.

"But I don't want a ghost..."
"Nobody WANTS a ghost!"
