Unless I'm hallucinating, didn't it have a full title before and is now an acrony? And, when I clink on AIBU, it directs me to Topics. Or is it me?

I just spotted this too and then wondered if I'd imagined that it was written in full so I'm glad I've found this thread. It's quite quichey to change it to AIBU. As a PP said, newbies won't know what it means. Although I did wonder if that was the intention - so it's slightly more difficult for journalists/celebs to jump on when they're looking for a contentious thread to publicise.

Maybe theyve done it for the newbies' own good ive lost count of the number of newbies who make the mistake of jumping right into AIBU with a thread and actually state in the OP that they are posting for the first time. It's like a red rag to a bull! Maybe if it is disguised the newbies will spend time elsewhere and get a feel for the place before posting.
