I fear I'm being a right drama queen Sad. I have PND bit it's now managed by fluoxetine and ongoing care from GP.

I was feeding my DS (he is bottle fed) and some woman turned to me and said something along the lines of you must not have a bond with your baby of you feed him like that. I can't quote her word for word I was busy but I just stared confused at her at first then dissmissed it, but I sat there and felt the anger/upset mounting. Not sure of she directed it at me or was talking to someone else, wasn't looking at her.

what did she mean I don't have a bond with my baby and what does bottle feeding him have to do with it (have I missed something Confused )

I'm confused and angry, DS and me have a lovely bond, we adore each other spend ages giggling and smiling at each other Hmm

I think I'm missing some information or something, why would a stranger assume such a thing?!

We fostered DS2 from 14 hours old ( we were finally allowed to adopt much later Smile).

When he was 12 weeks, we went on a camping trip. On the way I had to stop at a service station to feed him. I was sitting with him, our foster daughter and my eldest son and giving him his (organic ... we got our local very tiny Sainsburys to stock it for us ) formula.

The resident clown... I kid you not, he was employed to wear long shoes and make balloon poodles, came over, made himself comfortable and proceeded to tell me how he wouldn't have allowed his wife to bottle feed their child.

Utter arsehole that wasn't worthy of an explanation in my opinion.

We did our absolute best for that baby... and he's still with us, loved immensely, 14 yrs old, 5'8" and fit as a flea.

Ignore the clowns and love your gorgeous baby Grin x

What a bitch, honestly that's really got me all riled up on your behalf !

And shockers some old men think they know it all but that's ridiculous...I'd have a hard time not making them feel an inch tall but then I'm a bit of a mouthy cow

GingerCuddleMonster I am so sorry you were upset. Please evict this stupid woman from your head, she should not be in there! Enjoy time with your lovely little boy and ignore, ignore, ignore any twatty comments from strangers in future.
