Quite fancy http://m.marksandspencer.com/mt/www.marksandspencer.com/pure-cotton-digital-snow-forest-print-bedding-set/p/p22324478 from M&S but think it might be a waste of money Grin. Thinking if I got us one and my 3 children similar Christmassy themes (2 with double beds) then I'd be spending hundreds.

YABU it's horrible

Fairylea · 06/11/2014 21:39

George at asda has nice cheap and cheerful bedding... starts at about a tenner for a double set, washes nicely and is comfy. There's no way I could personally spend over 50 on something just for Christmas for the bed!!

Mrsgrumble · 06/11/2014 21:41

I would just get the children one each from somewhere like Matalan. Or even plain linen and buy some Nordic throws

SoonToBeSix · 06/11/2014 21:41

Do you mean duvet cover ? Or is this something different?

puntasticusername · 06/11/2014 21:42

Christmas duvet covers? Seriously?

Seriously?

Man, I lead such a boring life Wink :p

Bearbehind · 06/11/2014 21:43

I was really hoping to see some awesome Christmas bedding that I'd end up wanting when I clicked that link. Was even leaning towards YANBU. But no, it's horrible. Really not nice. And you'd be gutted to see the price it will end up at in the sale.

I liketit but wouldn't pay that much

OraProNobis · 06/11/2014 22:30

Lord no! Don't do it! It's awful Shock

mysteryfairy · 06/11/2014 22:48

There are far cheaper ones all over the place. Not normally a primark fan but DD has a brushed 100% cotton double duvet cover and fitted sheet that cost about £25 in total. Feels quite cosy and is only going to get a few weeks use. Hers is fairly subtle grey Nordic but I think they do some photographic numbers (maybe a stag?) if your taste is in that direction.

fourwoodenchairs · 06/11/2014 22:49

No.

o0 · 06/11/2014 22:51

DOWNIE.

Fantastic. That just made me feel 8 again. Xmas Grin

Riverland · 06/11/2014 22:55

Just bought the Primark one for DS. Don't know if it will wash well, but it's nice and soft, was pleasantly surprised!

Patrickstarisabadbellend · 06/11/2014 22:58

I love it Grin

IsItMeOr · 06/11/2014 23:02

YANBU - I have it already, waiting for 1 December. I get excited about snow, so love the picture.

5yo DS has a £15 one from Next, which I'm sure he will love. He has ASD, and I'm hoping it might help him with transitions.

Nospringflower · 06/11/2014 23:09

Ok ok I get it its horrible! It has good reviews though of being lovely. I try to shop 'ethically' which means no primark - think will just carry on as usual with normal sleep stuff!

OP, it's lovely if you like it. Of course not everybody is going to like the same thing...

Whippet81 · 07/11/2014 04:08

I love it actually. Carry on if you want it. Think I do now.

DomiKatetrix · 07/11/2014 05:00

I like it! I'm far too stingy to spend that much though Wink

NoArmaniNoPunani · 07/11/2014 05:13

H&M have some nice Xmas duvets.

JessieMcJessie · 07/11/2014 05:14

SoonToBeSix?"Downie" is Scottish for "duvet". Try not to be so arrogantly anglo-centric in your posts, eh?
