To be nervous of my DD when she is having a tantrum

she's two and is having quite a few. I'm terrified as she bites and throttles me but also won't let me go or comfort her. I'm worried she'll hurt herself the way she hurls herself about. Any tips. The key issue is that she always wants to take her baby in the bath or wear her shoes in there. I tried bathing her in the morning instead but no joy.

Possibly more harsh than some replies, but with the choosing clothes, strong views and 'breastfeeding - she won't stop', it seems that maybe she just needs to learn the word 'no' a little better. If she tries to throttle you (she's 2, really how much of a threat can that be?) stand up, restrict the TV, do more outside stuff - good for constipation too. You're the grown-up, you sound scared of her.
Why do you want to stop breastfeeding? do you really want to stop? Or do you feel guilty for wanting to carry on? If you want to stop then do so, if you don't, then carry on and be proud.

ignoring is the usual recommended route. Alternatively the holding firmly and rocking. whichever you chose I think you will probaby have to give it quite a few goes to see any difference.
