I used to think he was pretty lame, and an appalling actor in the HP series, but look here!!

That's pretty fly.

He's also been pretty good in the last few shows I've seen him in.

He's a good egg

Floundering · 30/10/2014 20:16

I love the fact that in interviews if anyone says or infers anything even slightly sexist/homophobic/anyway bigoted he pulls them up on it and points out why it is ridiculous to think like that but in an endearing way that works without sounding too right on.

He has grown up into a very naice young man

PiperIsOrangePumpkins · 30/10/2014 20:39

I love Daniel Radcliffe.

I think as the HP series grew his acting become better and better.

gilmoregirl article here

Madeyemoodysmum · 30/10/2014 21:20

I luve him and Rupert and Emma and Matthew and Tom and Evana too for that matter!

Viviennemary · 30/10/2014 21:24

I thought he was very good as Harry Potter. Just how I imagined HP to be. It's awful when they miscast people in films. I liked Ron too.

PixieofCatan · 30/10/2014 21:55

I was never a fan of him in HP. The books were my safe haven as a teen and he never was Harry Potter to me and I didn't like his acting. But I'm very impressed with him fairly recently. He's finally managed to seem human when acting and he's really interesting IRL as well if interviews are anything to go by!

I love the rapping too, very impressive!

CrumpleHornedSnorkack · 30/10/2014 22:01

I didn't think I could love DR anymore but finding out he's a Divine Comedy fan has proved me wrong Grin

Justgotosleepnow · 30/10/2014 22:07

I liked this about him-
Every night after acting in Equis he would leave the stage door in the same jumper & jeans.
So every night the paparazzi had the same photo. And eventually he was left alone Grin
What a sensible chap

Notmeagain1 · 30/10/2014 22:23

Unlike sooooo many child actors, they grow out of themselves, iukwim. DRad is growing into himself and its amazing to watch the transformation from child to man. I hope he goes on to do great things and stays human and not an unapproachable twit.

Yanbu
He'd get it

Greatfalls · 30/10/2014 22:37

After a recent trip to Florida, I was sorry to read he refused to collaborate on the recent HP themed Universal Studios rides. Emma Watson the same. I understand they don't want to be typecast and stuck with those characters forever, but it does detract from the experience for hundreds of thousands of fans when you can tell it's not the real actors who played Harry and Hermione. Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter reprised their characters for the rides and the bits featuring them are excellent. I'm sure they would have been well compensated. It just shows to me who the true professionals are. He never would have made it without such a lucky break, but he doesn't seem to get that.

JabberJabberJay · 30/10/2014 22:45

I like him too.

He has spoken out against the sexualisation of Emma Watson during the HP movies when she was a young teenager. And he has recently said some great things about the misogynist crap that is the concept of 'The Friend Zone'.

He seems like a nice chap. I'm glad being Harry Potter doesn't seem to have ruined him. It could have done.

GeorgianMumto5 · 30/10/2014 23:15

Honeez, that made me laugh out loud! The play was Eqqus and Radcliffe's nudity in it was well publicised beforehand. Bless your mum and her naivety. Tell her I think she sounds great.

ArabellaTarantella · 30/10/2014 23:16

I saw him on a Graham Norton Show recently, and he sang the song about the Periodic Table called The Elements. Very difficult and extremely impressive.

evelynj · 30/10/2014 23:27

Just adding my love for him. He is fab.

Coumarin · 31/10/2014 00:43

He's lovely isn't he? Obviously a really genuine, nice guy. I always like watching any interviews he does.

SwearySwearyQuiteContrary · 31/10/2014 02:04

How funny! I read this yesterday and watched the video. It left me thinking that he was such a nice chap.

Bogeyface · 31/10/2014 02:45

Its funny really, 20 years ago I would have wanted to be DR's GF, now I would be thrilled to be his mum! I am so old..........:o

He looked so thrilled too at the end!
