Only 13 weeks pregnant but sickness seems to be getting worse not better. usually ok but today I haven't stopped throwing up and have a massive migraine. ive spent the day so far in the bathroom whilst dp has taken care of our toddler (who I have all week).
As I'm writing this I've just got into bed and managed to put on a top but no pants :( dp said his mum wasn't very happy that I wasn't well as everyone gets sick when they are pregnant and I have to just deal with it.
Aibu to be a bit pissed off that I'm not even allowed one non functioning day when I've battled through it all the others. I was hospitalised with hg with our son so I was feeling like I was doing well this time round. Aibu or is she being a total cheeky mare?
What do I say to let her know I'm not taking the piss without offending? or aibu?

"Ok, if you want to play my mum says, it's my turn. let's see what MY mother thinks about that."

Applause for not throwing something at him OP, it must have been tempting. Either he really is ridiculously tactless, you did not need to hear that, or he's using his mummy as a means of saying what he's thinking himself. In which case you are cleared to read him the riot act immediately with all clauses.

MiL is not your problem....

Poor thing.
It was a thoughtless thing for her to say.
You dont have to respond to her at all. I would ask your dh what his response was.
Unless she has form for belittling you I would be tempted to ignore this and save your energy.
Hope you feel better soon.

I'm with everyone else that said your DH shouldn't have told you that. Causes you distress for absolutely no reason.

However, if she said that to you or alluded to it around you, then that's different. I tend to go with the incredulous "So you're accusing me of lying? Or did you suddenly gain access to my health records?"
