Don't be so mean.

CherryDolphin · 15/10/2014 20:44

Go for it.

WinterHobbit · 15/10/2014 20:44

I couldn't do it but if you can have that on your conscience then go for it Wink

Anniegetyourgun · 15/10/2014 20:44

But if you eat it tonight there'll be less to snaffle tomorrow.

ElliotLovesGrub · 15/10/2014 20:45

Noooo, don't do it!

2kidsintow · 15/10/2014 20:45

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

She will notice.

She will not let you forget.

Mintyy · 15/10/2014 20:46

NO! noooo! What the hell do you think you're doing?

Thisismyfirsttime · 15/10/2014 20:46

The rest of the cake will get dry! It'll be DRY tomorrow! I don't know why this bothers me so much but it'll be DRY!

Mintyy · 15/10/2014 20:46

Have a little self respect, fgs.

OfficeNewGirl · 15/10/2014 20:47

It does feel mean to present dd with a cake with candles on tomorrow but with a piece missing!

But on the other hand me and dh keep eyeing it up..

Would you be taking any photos of her blowing out the candles? You have to consider whether there'd be any evidence years from now...

fizzymittens · 15/10/2014 20:47

No - it's a pretty mean thing to do. Have you no self control?

SaucyJack · 15/10/2014 20:48

Turn the cake upside down and slice a bit off but still leaving the icing intact?

Flexibilityisquay · 15/10/2014 20:48

One of you needs to go out and buy more cake clearly!

DizzyKipper · 15/10/2014 20:48

Of course the obvious solution is to go out and buy another one, then you can go ahead and scoff guilt free Wink

Buttercup27 · 15/10/2014 20:49

Eat it but replace it for tomorrow.

OfficeNewGirl · 15/10/2014 20:49

Fizzy

We have zero self control where sweet things are concerned!

I did think about taking pictures, but obviously i couldnt if i ate a piece

Nip out and buy some chocolate.

Redglitter · 15/10/2014 20:50

Ffs it's her birthday cake don't be do rotten. You're an adult surely you can show enough self control to wait til tomorrow.

It'll look lovely in the photos with a big slice cut out of it

Leave it alone

WorraLiberty · 15/10/2014 20:50

If this is a jokey thread then YANBU and haha etc

If it's serious, then of course YABU.

Thebodyloveschocolateandwine · 15/10/2014 20:51

God have some and wrap rest round with cling film. Candies tomorrow. She will never know. Smile

DizzyKipper · 15/10/2014 20:52

Buy more cake! C'mon, don't make me start using excessive punctuation marks!

liger · 15/10/2014 20:53

Think of the photo you will take of her happily blowing out her two candles -it will be tricky to hide the missing piece out of shot.

My DD is 2 tomorrow also - I've not made her cake yet so don't have this quandary. I hope she has a lovely day whatever you decideSmile
