When DD2 was born it was hard. She was the worst eater, sleeper, constantly cried and made our lives a misery.

It lasted until about a month ago.

We have just got back from Florida (Sunday) and its actual hell. She has been up from around now until 6am each day and I can't cope.

DD1 (4) is jet lagged too, but has to be in school nursery every morning. DH is amazing but is starting a new job this week and really can't go in knackered.

I feel like I might die.

Hope today is a better one, the whole history of allergies and poor sleeping could mean that she is just very anxious about being left at night etc. etc. really shitty all around for all of you.

If she naps during the day wake her up after 45 minutes to help swtich her body clock.

Op I feel your pain. My dd was a hideous sleeper. Screamed whenever she thought she might sleep. Not just all night but on occasions for 2 hours at a time on car journeys! This was when she was well and otherwise happy. I found that holidays or anything out of the ordinary made her even worse. In the end I went to the doctor in tears after she was still screaming all night and my new baby was sleeping nearly all night. He gave me a sedative for her which didn't really work either! All you can do is grit your teeth and try to survive it. Now my dd is almost 14 and she is impossible to get up in the mornings!
