Aibu to think WHY are they on? Only to dilute the Judy F fiasco from yesterday? I can't listen to these girls

Weelass83 · 14/10/2014 11:10

Sorry, X-post.

What a joke, why Judy wasn't marched off the set immediately I'll never know x

Honeezreturn · 14/10/2014 11:12

I've just watched JF
Can't believe she said the rape 'wasn't violent' and caused no bodily harm Shock Shock
Oh that's alright then, just a gentle rape! Angry
JF has gone right down to the bottom of the barrel in my estimation of her,

Everyotherfreckle · 14/10/2014 11:13

And the girlfriend said that her parents were being supportive of Ched as well? WTAF?!

Rape aside for just a moment, if any man treated my DD the way that he treated Natasha, support is the last fucking thing they would be getting from me.

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 14/10/2014 11:13

Judy Finnegan said it wasn't a violent rape. I was ShockShockShock

Sheila Hancock who was on as a guest spoke the most sense on that subject.

WowserBowser · 14/10/2014 11:13

And I agree with pps

SO she does not believe he raped her. Well, that's ok then. Don't worry about the fact he obviously has zero respect for women.

I despair.

thereturnofshoesy · 14/10/2014 11:14

wow the family of a convicted rapist. given air time on tv

glad I missed that

JeanneDeMontbaston · 14/10/2014 11:14

I can't get TV atm so not seen.

But anyone else a bit Hmm that these women are being set up to take the flack? It must be obvious they will get harsh responses. Of course it's right they should - defending a convicted rapist is disgusting - but he is their family member and that can't be easy. He should be the one getting the full blame, and instead we're encouraged to get het up about these women.

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 14/10/2014 11:14

x post

JeanneDeMontbaston · 14/10/2014 11:15

(I am not saying that in sympathy for them, btw. I don't have the slightest sympathy to spare. But I feel angry the focus isn't on the rapist himself.)

Honeezreturn · 14/10/2014 11:15

Will be interesting to see what people tweet on 'this morning'when they have an update later on

WowserBowser · 14/10/2014 11:16

I wonder if the Sheila Hancock part is online. I missed that bit and would like to see someone talk sense.

PetulaGordino · 14/10/2014 11:16

v true jeanne

no one is getting the co-defendant on tv and he was actually there

JeanneDeMontbaston · 14/10/2014 11:26

I don't think he should be on TV - not interested in him being given a platform to speak - but it's even worse having someone on to defend him and draw the fire away from him.

PetulaGordino · 14/10/2014 11:27

oh no i agree. but you are right about the way the women are being used

ElliotLovesGrub · 14/10/2014 11:28

I'm surprised that itv think it's appropriate to give people like this airtime.

ConkerTime · 14/10/2014 11:29

This show has gone so far down the pan.

Honeezreturn · 14/10/2014 11:33

You're not wrong conkertime
Next up; a man who has sex with cars, WTF

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 14/10/2014 11:36

Well quite Elliot it seems even ITV draw the line at having a convicted rapist on to plead his innocence, so they get his family on instead. Nice.

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 14/10/2014 11:38

Although actually I would think more of him if he did go on and say 'I have served my time, now all I want to do is go back to my job.' But I suppose as a women-hater it's easier for him to send his sister and gf on to take the flack for him...

Charitybelle · 14/10/2014 11:40

Jesus Christ, rape is always a violent crime, by definition. Didn't have a high opinion of JF before but now I'd say she's an utter moron.
Saddest thing about this is there are so many people who will agree with her Sad

Charitybelle · 14/10/2014 11:44

Re: the gf and sister, who cares what they think, the point is, they shouldn't be given a media platform to spout their rubbish.
On the actual topic of him getting his job back, I wouldn't be too impressed if my employers brought in a convicted rapist. Couldn't give a shit if he's 'served his time' (and what a joke of a sentence that was) how safe would you feel working with/alongside someone who has proved themselves capable of such a heinous crime against another human being? If a common burglar who's never hurt anyone would struggle to find work after a prison sentence why the hell shouldn't this guy get a taste of that?

Honeezreturn · 14/10/2014 11:46

charitybelle exactly, I agree

ConkerTime · 14/10/2014 11:52

Just watched the loyal duo on ITV+1.

Love is blind and they are determined to maintain that willful blindness.

They believe if people read the details of the case they will see the jury was wrong. Well here's one member of the public who will disagree on that. I found them upsetting actually.

Thanks to Sheila Hancock for speaking good sense on Loose Women.

CeliaFate · 14/10/2014 11:52

Exactly that Charitybelle.

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 14/10/2014 12:01
