To be upset at getting a slanket for my wedding anniversary

Seventh wedding anniversary (altho we have been together 20 years and are v happy). I forgot completely. He bought me a slanket (it's a fleece blanket with sleeves). What does this say about us??

I'm actually quite jealous! I lost mine in a house move a couple of years ago and haven't been able to justify buying a new one!

Infact....when I get my first paycheck after gping back to work, I may buy one!

I'd be upset with a slanket irrespective of the occasion. Big, cosy blanket = wonderful. Snuggly warm dressing gown = brilliant. Slanket = just NO.

Yes, I would have preferred a cashmere throw, or beautiful woollen blanket.

Anyhoo, mustn't be ungrateful. I suspect in fact I will be very grateful come the winter, and the continual secret readjustment of the thermostat wars (me up, him down).
