to pity these children

Met a friend yesterday who is delighted that her 15 month old is now eating a variety of breakfast like honey loops, frosties, 'multigrain shapes, cocopops instead of weetabix and ready brek every second day which are boring!

I'm health and sugar conscious & love that my 10 month and 4 year old have a variety like weetabix porridge ready brekkie scrambled egg and on occasion homemade pancakes or sausages.

And to be honest there's not much between 'ready breckie' and weetabix and some of the cereals of the child you 'pity'

Hidden extras in those

It's only cereal Hmm

OP, your children are 4 and 10 months. You've yet to experience when they start to refuse your healthy breakfasts, or even eat breakfast at all!

My dc are 12, 9 and 6. DD is heading towards 'no breakfast' territory, DS1 gags at Weetabix/Ready Brek, DS2 is a fussy bugger full stop. Breakfast in this house is a nightmare at times.

Just concentrate on your own dc and keep your fingers crossed they don't turn into breakfast rejectors anytime soon.

And as long as their diet
Is healthy and varied as a whole, and their teeth are brushed properly a bit if sugar will do no harm.

You sound quite smug tbh...
