OMG. Now I've seen it all. Literally.

McFox · 04/09/2014 23:57

Apparently I've not to tell DH about things like this just before bed ever again because it will keep him awake - then how come he was snoring about 13 seconds later?! Me on the other hand, I'm wide awake and not appreciating the weird noises that old building make tonight. Screw you crazy ebay seller!

Coumarin · 05/09/2014 02:24

"Haunted vessel collector" who knew this was even a thing?

First it was used knickers and knackered manky shoes, now creepy old dolls. eBay is an eye opener.

chocolatedonut · 05/09/2014 02:49

Wow. Not sure I believe but certainly would not be buying Grin

SignYourNameInBrownAndFlame · 05/09/2014 05:10

Well, isn't that just a big old bundle of weird with a side helping of what the very fuck?

LoveBeingAwakeInTheNight · 05/09/2014 06:17

When I go out he makes me very nervous and worried about what he is going to do next I have come home and the house will be a mess he is causing me and my other spirits stress.

Oh no the poor other spirits

Idontseeanysontarans · 05/09/2014 08:23

You could get the same effect by accidentally leaving a Baby Annabel doll switched in and letting the batteries run low so it glitches.
Bloody thing put 10 years in my life that night...
An hour or so of weird whirring noises, scratchy sounding giggles and baby noise that I couldn't find until the head started moving.
I'll sell the bastard thing for a tenner if anyone wants it Grin

twofingerstoGideon · 05/09/2014 10:40

I know what question we could ask the seller:
'Does this vessel doll give off a strong smell of bullshit when handled?'

NotYouNaanBread · 05/09/2014 10:46

Well, at least it's from a smoke free home. I mean, THANK GOD, right?

Tiredsparrow · 05/09/2014 12:32

I absolutely would not put an offer on it, had it been from a smokers home

OP posts:
Edieandkoala · 05/09/2014 12:41

"From a smoke free home".

Phew!

cherrybombxo · 05/09/2014 12:42

"From a smoke free home"

Amazing.

LetTheRiverAnswer · 05/09/2014 13:00

I've read the description now. Wow. There really are some odd people about aren't there. The mind boggles.

steff13 · 05/09/2014 13:07

I knew when I clicked this was going to be about haunted dolls! As if dolls aren't creepy enough! Even if you don't believe in that sort of thing, who wants to take the chance?

Icimoi · 05/09/2014 14:01

When I go out he makes me very nervous and worried about what he is going to do next I have come home and the house will be a mess he is causing me and my other spirits stress.

So many questions - if that's so, how come she seems to collect these things? If she's sold 5, has she been suffering 6 times the amount of stress that this one is causing her? If it were true, why wouldn't you just burn it or dump it in the river?

randycheeseburger · 05/09/2014 14:13

if you find that freaky look up robert the doll and Annabelle on youtube

SouthernComforts · 05/09/2014 14:14

I never thought I would laugh loud at the words "from a smoke free home" Grin

LetTheRiverAnswer · 05/09/2014 14:54

You'd think, if you had a malignant doll that you didn't want to destroy because you believed it was the spirit of a poor troubled soul, you might even pay £800 to not have the responsibity of caring for it and the damage to your house.
That, and a thousand other questions.

sonjadog · 05/09/2014 17:51

I think it sounds quite tiresome having haunted vessels all over house, all creating odours, tapping her on the shoulder, running up and down the corridor. It must be hard to concentrate when she's watching tv in the evenings.

Tinkerball · 05/09/2014 17:56

From a smoke free home

So no sacrificial fires then??

wantacatplease · 05/09/2014 18:23

The replies here are fucking hilarious!

Madmum24 · 05/09/2014 19:01

Out of curiosity I had a look through the other dolls haunted vessels' stories. There is one who looks after children, and she is a bargain £18.00! Childcare solution, anyone?

littleomar · 05/09/2014 19:12

Nobody has mentioned the acorns. Is that a thing? Would conkers work?

Lifesalemon · 05/09/2014 19:31

Good thinking madmum real bargain.

Paranormal seahorse anyone? Confused

niddy · 05/09/2014 19:55

Oh Blue, that prosthetic leg reminded me to get that referral to sort out my stress incontinence! [Grin]
