To feel a bit sorry for all those babies having to wear those triangular dribble bibs?

I know how they are supposed to sit. And I know how they are supposed to lay and I know how they are supposed to look.

Except they dont. They dont sit in a nice comfortable triangle under their chin to catch the dribbles, they ruck up so they are over their chin and bunch up around the neck.

In warm weather Id hate to have that round my neck. And Id hate to have something constantly riding up around my chin and mouth.

I just used to use a muslin or have a couple of top changes during teething periods.

I know, I need to get a life. But Im bored today Grin.

Yabu. I put one on Ds when we go out as he can be a bit sicky sometimes and it saves two or three outfit changes. Fair enough some people don't like them but I think you would feel more sorry for Ds is he was covered in sick than you would if you saw him with a dribble bib on

I used to make these for my DD 25 years ago. She has cerebral palsy and had a bad dribble problem until she had two of her salivary glands reversed. They were great as I used to make them in fabrics to complement her clothes and as others have said they kept her chin and chest dry. Also as they could be easily changed there was no unpleasant odour as there can be if dribbled on clothes aren't changed frequently.

Glad I am not alone in finding these things peculiar, they seem to be on every second baby from day one lately so I think there is definitely an element of fashion accessory going on.

I do find the way they look a bit odd. Agree they look like little cowboys. Dunno, I just don't ever remember thinking something like that would be handy when DS was small. He was a blanky dragger so I probably wiped it off with that Blush

The ones from Dribblebuster are good as they are shaped at the neck and don't bunch up. They are smaller than some of the other ones but just the right size to catch the dribble and keep my baby dry. We love the classy designs they have too. All in soft cotton so my baby does not get too hot wearing one. They look much smarter than any of the others I have seen.
