I really want it... (For my DD obviously, fetching as I'd look in a mouse romper.)

DH says £40 is ridiculous.

I'm hoping people side with me so I can order it for our holiday Wink

I'm with your dh.

Apart from the thought of parting with the best part of £45(with p&p) on one item for a one year old nearly choking me, when would she wear it?

Summer's nearly over and if you wait until next year you may forget you've got it and get suckered with other equally cute must haves.

Plus it's not a practical colour. One outing and it'll either be stained or ripped or both.

Save the £40 for wine Grin

DD 2 has the winter mouse pinifore. Lovely on and great quality. It is made of a fine needle cord.

That said she also has the yellow boden rabbit pinifore and it is just as nice and 1/3rd cheaper.

£40 is a lot for something that's only suitable for high summer, unless you live in Dubai or somewhere

I occasionally buy the DDs expensive clothing if we have a wedding or something to go to. I am more likely to spend on dresses, as they're grown out of less quickly - you can buy them below the knee and let them steadily creep higher - and you can wear them all year round with tights and a cardie.

Now that I have two DDs I do spend a little more on DD1's clothes, knowing that her sister will be in them three years later.
