Name changed for this.

The friend, lets call her Louise, is 16, and her mother has no knowledge of the fact that her daughter is sexually active. She cant talk to her own DM.

I feel bad for Louise's DM. I would be heart broken if one of my DCs felt they couldn't come to me. However i cant tell the DM. I hardly know her and Louise wouldn't want that. AIBU?

A pity she feels she cant talk to her own mum.
But so much better you helped her than she was on her own and feeling terrified...

You have done the right thing, OP, and a kind thing too.

YANBU...but what a minefield! Do you think that this was a one off? Clearly there is a need for a deep conversation about not shagging around. (STDs, pregnancy risk which would probably mean the guy would be part of her life forever, so it would be wise to be picky about who to sleep with).

etc. You sound like the kind of person I hope my children would turn to, if they were unable to talk to me.

Ediqute does not provide for a potential baby. If the family ever finds out then it's thier problem.
