To think Royal Mail don't actually deliver daily to single addresses any more?

I have noticed that I NEVER get any mail on a Monday or Wednesday, as in none. I very rarely get any on a Thursday but frequently get a wodge of letters on a Tuesday and Friday that have postmarks from days before. It's really annoying.

AIBU to think that Royal Mail have possibly cut down the daily deliveries to my address to alternate days as a money saving exercise?

We seem to have this too.

Our postman seemed v. grumpy last week when I signed for something. I asked him if he was ok and he cried (a little bit) and said his DW was having an affair.

Decided not to complain about post.

How interesting - I have never noticed this, but now you point it out... We do seem to get batches of post - about 3-5 items at a time - or none at all. Will monitor our deliveries with interest.

We're London zone 2. Two days a week we get no post - and neither does the 3rd house up from us or the 6th...

Every.single.week. Coincidence? I think not. An amazing amount of post goes missing these days too.
