... especially in this heat! It's so handy if you want to prevent sweaty chafing! Grin I used to always put it on after shaving armpits etc to prevent horrible heat rash.
So went to get some and it's disappeared from the shops. When did that happen? ?. I guess they only stock it for grannies at Christmas now?
And while we're at it - can anyone recommend an anti perspirant that does what it says on the tin?? I bought a men's one for mysefl to try and cope with this heat - no good. I have a big underarm problem - not all over, thank goodness - just armpits Blush

Our 99p shop sells a few different varieties of talc.

2rebecca Hmm that's not really how it works.

www.nealsyardremedies.com/baby-powder

www.nealsyardremedies.com/lavender-and-tea-tree-body-powder

Burts-Bees-Baby-Bee-Dusting-Powder-127g (talc free, available in lots of places - google shopping options)

Yardley do some, and M and S.

I haven't tried the second one from Neal's yard but love their baby powder one.

I bought a lovely big fluffy powder puff off the internet specially for my sweaty bits this summer.
Nowhere to be seen in normal shops anymore.

Never knew there were so many varieties still available! I have been using baby powder. Will check some of these out. I also can't praise Mitchum highly enough.

Lots of lovely talc free talcs here

Janethegirl · 26/07/2014 15:43

Body shop does one but it's not talc free

specialsubject · 26/07/2014 15:56

the issue with talc seemed to be more that powdering the baby risks it inhaling loads of the stuff, and suffocating. Expect that's why it isn't freely available any more.

no real risk for adults. I would think that it is the size of the particles that matters, so 'talc free dusting powder' is just babble.

Selks · 26/07/2014 16:45

Any other talc free ones (preferably that are not dear)?
