Browsing the sidebar of shame (as you do, sorry, I won't link or it'll fair put you off your breakfast).

All the articles about her are vile. Full of outright lies and (I'm sure) misquotes. I then saw a snippet of an interview with her and just saw a damaged and not terribly bright young woman who seems to be completely naive and the polar opposite to the scheming twisted savvy climber she's being portrayed as.

I don't know what the truth is but I highly doubt she said (or meant) a tenth of what's claimed, and she is the target of a horrible agenda. She may well have signed up for that but you dint make choices like that in a vacuum, do you? She's an 'escort' and aspiring model apparently.

I feel a bit sick. I'm not one for censorship, but I do wonder if perhaps there should be stricter rules for the press in cases like this. It

Ah, the global village gossip then. So the equivalent of 'That Mary - whose no better than she ought - sleeping with Mrs Muir - who runs the newsagent's - husband, and her with the two kids to look after, and that awful hair dye job and the skirts that make her look like a hooker'?

See the wonderful global communication tools and technology we have...? Do we use it to cure disease, stop global warming and wars? Nope, this is what it is used for - what a waste of time.

Wow

nicename · 24/06/2014 09:20

(Blackberry fail there, ironically)

Dust off the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel award for literature...

I mumsnet waaay too much but refuse to get dragged into Faceache, blogs or twitter. I can talk enough bollocks myself, don't need anyone elses insights 'OMG! Just had a coffee!'
'Eating a sandwich'
'On the bus'
'Doing my laundry'

UsedtobeFeckless · 24/06/2014 09:25

Facebook is really weird - I'm newly joined and I'm seeing a side to my mates I never saw before! All pictures of toast and wifflings about the Kardasians ... I've sneakily unfollowed most of them!

She gave an interview in a trashy women's mag that she didn't know which of her prostitution customers fathered the child. Hey ho.

Szeli · 24/06/2014 09:32

gertie she said in an interview (one you can view not one you can read) that she was a prostitute who didn't know whether a client or an old friend fathered her child

I think the abuse she gets regarding boob jobs is unfair, she said she was bullied throughout her teens and if she can use that boob job to start a new career why the heck not?

When she was discussing the potential late abortion she seemed really uninformed which was a shame as it opened her up to more abuse

With the taxis I'm unsure, it's a common thing for councils to do and her doc must have thought she was really struggling to push for it, anxiety is horrendous although someone with pr representation should have been coached about it and perhaps as their manipulations of the situation have led to the aledged anxiety - perhaps they should be contributing?

nicename · 24/06/2014 09:43

Anxiety caused by opening her trap publically about having (among other things) anxiety about having constructive breast surgery (of only she'd said that rather than 'boob job')?

Dear good, she could have gone on about how young women (and men) get bullied/depressed due to perceived physical issues, or how the media push the whole 'body beautiful' thing to the extent of making some feel suicidal.

Of course, she doesn't have to do these things - her life and all that - but why try to be famous for being notorious/outrageous (and not in a performance art kind of way). She is either not the sharpest knife in the box, channeling Katie Price, or has a seriously crap PR.

In the words if my old grandma 'world gone mad...I wouldn't want to be a young'un now' (and that was someone who lived through 2 world wars).

I tried listening to a new podcast last night, the Steve Allen show. He was ranting in an absolutely vile way about this unfortunate woman. I turned it off and won't be listening to that misogynistic bully again!

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 24/06/2014 10:48

I wouldn't say she is an unfortunate victim of bullying. She is a media whore who will do anything to stay in the limelight.

I think she is known for getting a boob job done on the NHS whilst claiming benefits (I couldn't care less about what she claims but she is the one who has made a big deal of it), then she got pregnant and made a big deal of the fact that she was having a late termination because a baby did not suit and then she made a big deal of changing her mind. I imagine she will be one of those who decides to give birth live on tv!

She is a total prat who brings any negativity on herself.

TheFairyCaravan · 24/06/2014 10:52

She tweeted "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but tax payers will always fund me :)" so do you really think she is helping herself?

The only people I feel sorry for in her pathetic mess of a life is her children!

AgaPanthers · 24/06/2014 10:55

She's in all the tabloid papers, not only the Fail.

Here's the Mirror

Yesterday: www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/josie-cunningham-nhs-boob-job-3746075
And today: www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/pregnant-josie-cunningham-vows-give-3752508

She seems to know what she is doing, her Twitter says
"Uk's most controversial boobs, courtesy of the NHS. " and yesterfay "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but tax payers will always fund me :) #NeedToSortMyBoatRaceOut #SchoolRun "

twitter.com/JosieCOnline

She is playing pantomime villain, she is not somebody who has been doorstepped and then vilified, she is fully engaged in this.

ginslinger · 24/06/2014 10:59

I agree - to a large extent she's a victim of the 'celeb' culture, even if it's the Z list end of that culture. More needs to be done with our young women for them to see beyond TOWIE etc. She's reached the point where any sort of attention is good even when she's being rubbished. I feel sorry for her.

Skina · 24/06/2014 11:07

YABU. She's courting it then playing the poor old me card.

EmmaGellerGreen · 24/06/2014 11:19

She actively seeks publicity and appears not to care if it's positive or negative as evidenced by her latest tweets. The press need to publishing this nonsense. It is cheap headlines for them and doing her no good at all.

Nancy66 · 24/06/2014 11:36

she's set up a dating site called 'pull the pig'.

Heels99 · 24/06/2014 11:45

She is a horror story and invites all the bullying on herself. Luckily, she will be old news before long.

emms1981 · 24/06/2014 12:23

sorry but shes vile, I've seen a few of her posts on twitter, she had an almost breakdown because she found out 3rd child is a boy
she smokes and drinks while pregnant
she gets taxis funded to do school run because she says shes to famous and bullied to get the bus
she brags about getting freebies on the nhs
was quite happy to abort her baby for fame.
If she is bullied then its all brought on herself

chipsandpeas · 24/06/2014 12:34

shes not helping herself one little bit with her constant media craving

shes on loose women today i wonder what else she will come out with them moan about the attention

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 24/06/2014 12:35

I have no idea who she is and I like it that way

CoffeeTea103 · 24/06/2014 12:38

She is a vile person, she is so messed up I feel sorry for her children. All the bullying and hatred she receives she brings on herself. She is definitely no 'vulnerable,'poor girl' who needs sympathy.

starlight1234 · 24/06/2014 12:39

I was about to say she is on Loose women today so not having that much trouble getting out.

17leftfeet · 24/06/2014 12:39

Ooo just flicking round because obviously I don't watch it and she's on loose women in a minute

I shall watch for research purposes

ClaudetteWyms · 24/06/2014 12:41

I think she is dangerously damaged and vulnerable, and the press are keen to have another woman they can hold up for us all to hate Sad

Agree it will not end well.
