All men are crap with money

DH just said this to me. He says that all the men he has ever known have been crap with money and that women are better at managing a budget.

AIBU to assert that the ability to manage a budget is not gender specific?

Are there differences in how men and women manage their money?

YANBU. My mum and dad could budget well, uncle not a clue.

Not in my house, I'm crap with money. I get paid in cash in an envelope with a payslip weekly, I take what I think I'm going to need for the week and I give DH the rest because if not, I would have no savings and wouldn't have anything left before I get paid. I don't even have a bank account.

DH is fantastic with money and cards, he gets the best interest free deals and pays them off before interest is due if we need something big and cant cover it with savings. I cant even afford to put diesel in my car today because I cant budget and I have £1.25 left till tomorrow.
