To think women with more than one sister aren't to be trusted...

Have name changed as I know a few of these. Slightly light-hearted and of course a generalisation, but I do wonder. I mean, don't they need to be a bit hard and a little two faced just to get through growing up in a family of girls?

I can think of 2 women in particular, acquaintances, who both have 3 sisters and no brothers. Both are fickle, have an out of sight out of mind attitude to friends and talk about things that their friends have clearly told them in confidence to others.

I have kept a distance, for my own self-preservation. But I just wondered whether anyone else has ever found this.

My uncle (married to my father's sister) has no brothers, but 13 sisters!

He's an absolute helmet, but the sisters I've met have all been very nice.

I don't have a Sister or a Brother-I'm an only child......we're the worst out the lot!! .

But not sure what to think of it, I knew one girl who had no Sisters (just 2 Brothers) and she was vile. It's interesting but not sure it's true.

Well I've got four brothers and I'm a right cow. How do you explain that?

Erm, no. I can I only think of two people I know who grew up with multiple sisters. One is a very close friend of 20+ years and the other is a friend at work. They are probably the most trustworthy people I know.

I'm sorry you've had such bad experiences but I don't think the causal factor is the one you've attributed to.

I only have one sister (whom I didn't grow up with ever) I grew up with 4 boys and though I'm not 2 faced but I'm brutally honest, I take no prisoners and I could hold my own in a bar brawl if needed. I think most girly girls are a bit bitchy and gossipy but as a complete tomboy I preferred fighting things out than hair pulling and handbags at dawn.

Three sisters here and no brothers, we are all very different but definitely not hard nosed bitches. You can't have a very high opinion of women if you think growing up in a female house makes you a bad person.

I have four older sisters so I must have had to be a complete two faced, nut job, bitch to grow up in that household. But I also have a brother so perhaps he balanced out all that horrendous, evil oestrogen.

I am amazed that there are so many families with 5 girls, we should start a quiche. A really bitchy one where we can talk about the rest of this lot.

Interesting. Am an only child. Usually it's me that the biggest bitch for being, y'know, an only!!! Spoilt, perfect, ungrateful....yawn.
