AIBU?

To think women with more than one sister aren't to be trusted...

Have name changed as I know a few of these. Slightly light-hearted and of course a generalisation, but I do wonder. I mean, don't they need to be a bit hard and a little two faced just to get through growing up in a family of girls?

I can think of 2 women in particular, acquaintances, who both have 3 sisters and no brothers. Both are fickle, have an out of sight out of mind attitude to friends and talk about things that their friends have clearly told them in confidence to others.

I have kept a distance, for my own self-preservation. But I just wondered whether anyone else has ever found this.

Bichons of bullshit.

Clearly all those saying 'my sisters and I are all very trustworthy' would say that wouldn't they. Tricksy hobbitses.

I had three sisters and four brothers.
Perhaps I'm a bitch but I'm not rude.

I have 3 sisters but I learnt my lesson well.

When DD3 has been born and is old enough I'm only putting 1 dinner on the table at night and 1 school uniform out.

survival of the fittest innit?

I have 3 sisters. I can only be trusted with certain things. Wine and chocolate are not 2 of those things.

Oh and ALL my sisters are the same and so is my brother.

Ooh Pagwatch - you could have been the Jacksons or the Osmonds - did you all sing & dance?

I was raised in the wild by wolves.
Absolutely, utterly true.
I am very trustworthy. But my table-manners are a little poor.
I can smell woman- hating a mile off. I really hope - seriously - that this is a wind- up - or you need to talk to someone about internalised self-hate.

I was fabulous Shake but the others were all shit. Thwarted talent.

Can I just say op - if you didn't think you were being fucking rude, why did you name change?

You know, I am still surprised by how much rage many men carry inside them about their mothers.

You're absolutely right OP, us women with sisters are all untrustworthy. I have similar suspicions about women who like cheese & onion crisps, men who drive silver cars and children who ride bikes. Dodgy buggers, the lot of them Grin

OP I believe your thread has failed because you did not use the magic passcode "class analysis" that makes big stupid generalisations completely fine.

This thread is light relief from the London property prices thread, though. Which just makes me cry.

Did you name change because you genuinely feared for your privacy or because you wanted to be goady?

Name changing to start stupid threads should be banned.

The most hard faced, two faced bitch I have ever !et has a brotherband no sisters (and she grew out of it by 17). I have a sister but no brother, female cousins, only aunts by blood, my dad is not a 'manly' man, AND went to a girls school. On top of that, my best friend in the world is a man in a relationship! With someone else! Should I just hand myself over to the authorities now?

I have two older sisters.

Yes I HAD to be tough, hard faced and gobby. I wouldn't have got a look in otherwise! Grin

OP you missed 'creep' off your list of generalisations. Wink

My sisters certainly aren't to be trusted.

I've got four sisters and a brother and would say I was trustworthy since I always seem to be the person everyone comes to with their problems.

OP you don't think much of women then?

What a whacky view for a woman to hold. You must be so different to all the other women.
