Where are you originally from?

I am thoroughly English.

HarpyFishwifeTwat · 13/06/2014 22:04

Maw is common in West Coast. Although my maw would slap me if I dared call her it. Was apparently common.

LatinForTelly · 13/06/2014 22:06

I'm English, living in Scotland.

I like 'the back of'. It's gloriously approximate. In fact, I quite like all the differences in language I notice up here.

PhaedraIsMyName · 13/06/2014 22:06

Eddie I don't think there are as many private schools in Glasgow than as in Edinburgh. I'd have have been thought very odd at work/making a point if I'd not sent my little dear to a private school in Edinburgh. I don't think that would be the same if we lived in Glasgow.
