Re enunciating the 't's' in words?

My accent isn't the best but I generally enunciate the t's at the end of my words. DH doesn't, never has done, and it's never bothered me before.

However, DD (3.5) is now dropping her t's, including the t at the end of her baby sister's name. It drives me crazy, I hate it, and I am constantly correcting her (and mostly being ignored).

DH thinks I'm being absolutely ridiculous to be constantly correcting her, and to get so wound up by it. AIBU and a snob? And if I try to let it go, is there any chance her enunciation will get better in time anyway (clutching at straws)?

Thanks!

I am a Londoner and i don't drop my t's. I also sound nothing like my parents and sister, who are from Saarf Lahnden and i am from West. In fact i must sound very specific to my area as i have had people from miles away ask if i grew up near Richmond (Chiswick actually) as i sound exactly like others they have met from there. But in my mind I cannot imagine Richmond having any kind of accent at all Confused

I would like DS to sound like me, so would correct the T thing. But oddly enough i hate a part of my accent which seems to add vowels to words. I think i sound like an even more nasal Bev from Abigails Party (i can't seem to say Ange without saying Aaaaaaannnnnnjjjjje - bleaurch). Other people i know can't understand what i mean, probably because they do it too. But, nonetheless, i have had many comments about how 'posh' i sound - till i meet someone actually 'posh' of course.

One of the reasons i didn't want to bring up dc in Canada was because i couldn't bear the thought of them having such a different accent to us. Or one of those weird hybrid accents.
