To ask what your judgy pants look like?

I've always imagined judgy pants as big granny pants, probably with embroidery around the elastic, but DP insists that truly judgy pants would have to be a thong, to provide the requisite arse-floss-wedgie judgy face.

Please, help us settle this domestic dispute by pegging (a description of) your own judgy pants on the line.

Mine would be the large black cotton pants you get in M&S in a 5 pack. The type I may have bought for my birthing bag.

Of course having children made me see the world in a quite different way and it takes a lot to hoik them these days. But when I do there'll be a ton of material in the wedgie position.

PosyFossilsShoes · 01/06/2014 19:20

Ooh, pointy fingers attached, nice.

I was wondering about pinstripe, with a little gavel tucked into the waistband.

Mine are grey and knitted. And so high they come with shoulder straps.

TSSDNCOP · 01/06/2014 19:24

Mine are knitted. I can pull them up so far they knot above my head and have eye holes.

spiderlight · 01/06/2014 20:08

Mine are red velvet, trimmed in ermine.

NorthernChinchilla · 01/06/2014 20:11

Mine are like the grey oversized y-fronts Steve Bell drew for John Major...

Drgonzosattorney · 01/06/2014 20:40

Sadly, judgey pants have been turned into something foul for me, as Miley Cyrus hoiks for celebrity and the attention of the daily Wail.

Sonotkylie · 01/06/2014 20:40

Full brief, plenty of vpl (so you know I am wearing them), yellow and purple (UKIP colours)

Drgonzosattorney · 01/06/2014 20:43

The only pant for me is a packet of 3 high leg pant from Tesco. Little bit sad but comfort over style.

MrsWinnibago · 01/06/2014 20:49

These are mine. Aren't they fine?

my judgy pants are so comfortable and flattering I don't realise I am wearing them... until I get so judgy and agitated that the motion causes the "La mode des Judgy-Ones" label on the side to irritate me me and i think.....
Oh yes, seem to be wearing those judgy pants...AGAIN

(apologies for horrendous sentence structure, it was a kind of stream of consciousness)

PoirotsMoustache · 01/06/2014 21:05

Judgy-pants are giant beige support knickers that slide up your buttocks and into your arse crack when you pull them right up to your bosom. They have very thick elastic and have nothing frivolous about them whatsoever.

Xihha · 01/06/2014 21:34

mine are big pale blue granny pants with tiny flowers on, similar to Mrs Winnibago's but in a far less vibrant colours as knickers shouldn't be that exciting Wink

thatstoast · 01/06/2014 21:51

I wear these on playdates just in case I meet any little Tylers or Chardonnays.

BlackeyedSusan · 01/06/2014 22:04

mine are that mucky pinky beige coloured cotton with little patterns in the weave, they are highly elasticated and pull up to the armpits.

worriedabout · 01/06/2014 22:23

mine are more like a black slinky thong as I thoroughly approve of all things (and people) slightly mischievous and naughty, within reason.

Granny pants - not in my drawer.

ToysRLuv · 01/06/2014 22:23

These are mine. No hoiking needed, they are already in my armpits.

mathanxiety · 01/06/2014 22:28

Mine are impeccably creased black trousers too. Otherwise they would be judgey panties

Panzee · 01/06/2014 22:31

I imagine trousers. Close fitting with elastane, in a fawn/beige colour. To be worn with white T shirt and camel coloured cashmere cardigan.

And pearls, of course!

BasketzatDawn · 01/06/2014 22:34

Like the organised and efficient wimmin that I am not, I have 3 pairs - one to wear, one to wash and a spare. They are pale blue verging on fading grey due to frequent washing, and the elastic sags so that I have to hoik at regular intervals. Come to think of it, fading grey and saggy rather sums up the wearer too. Clearly I have become my pants and my pants become me. Grin

BasketzatDawn · 01/06/2014 22:37

I am ever so slightly envious of the OP. Mr Basketz and I have had one or two conversations about JudgyPants, but I can state without a shadow of a doubt he doesn't really get the concept. Sad Should I LTB? Smile

BeatrixKidding · 01/06/2014 23:12

In fairness (I'm Posy's partner and don't tend to hang about on here nearly as much as she does) I thought it was judgy knickers and had in mind the sort of lacy little numbers that look nice, but get intensely irritating after half a day.

Having read this thread, I feel the need to get busy with the sewing machine and make her a pair of substantial pinstripe pants, possibly with a white horsehair trim...

Shewhowines · 01/06/2014 23:21

Mine are greying (previously white) elasticated armpit huggers. Slightly thin in places from the over stretched result of the hoiking.

mindthegap79 · 01/06/2014 23:43

Mine are denim, very high waisted and maternity, so that I can tuck my boobs in.
