To think there is nothing "weird and disgusting" about being naked around a baby

A twat friend was telling me about two women (lesbians) she knows who have just had a baby and saying that they like to spend time lying in bed topless with the baby (one mum breastfeeding). She said she thinks it's "weird and disgusting" that the other mum would "expose" herself to the baby when she's not using her boobs to feed. I pointed out since the baby is very new they probably want to establish skin to skin contact with both parents and that it's no different to a baby lying on a mans chest.

AIBU to think this is fine and my friend is a raving nutjob?

creampie as of 2009, women in a civil partnership can both be named on the birth certificate of a child conceived since the date of their CP.

I think two parents are always going to find 'complementary' ways to parent their child - they will work out for themselves how that's going to divide out between them. So another woman being 'other mother' isn't automatically going to 'tread on your toes' any more than a male parent being 'father' would.

And, I'd guess that lesbians are very aware of gender roles and would be more flexible about not just both trying to slot into some predefined idea of what being 'mother' or 'father' means in day-to-day terms, but in working out how to be a family in a way that works for them.

Apparently with certain regular stimulation, you can bring on milk, even men could produce milk.
