To feel so much better after emptying my bowels?

Defenbaker · 30/04/2014 02:53

To give a little background, I've never been very regular... sometimes it could be 2 or 3 days between bowel movements. However, I've recently been eating more fruit and less junk food, in an effort to lose weight, so I'm getting more regular now and feeling much better for it. In fact, two days running I've passed what could accurately be described as mini torpedoes, and afterwards I feel SO much better! Grin

I can now understand why some people have colonic irrigation, though I've never been brave foolhardy enough to try it.

Thanks nomorequotes.

I remember using the toilets at an airport when a very put together lady came out of a cubicle stating 'nothing better than a dump in the morning'

I concur! As someone who suffers from bowel problems, when I do get that morning dump I always remember her stretching with morning satisfaction as she went towards the basins. God speed dear lady Grin

Hello

Just wanted to say that we've had a look at the OP and have no reason at all to think she's one of our regular scatalogical trolls, although we understand why some posters are a bit jumpy on this after quite a few not-on-the-level scatalogical posts recently.

MargotLovedTom · 30/04/2014 14:08

Well I couldn't give a shite (ta-da), post away about your itchy minge if you wish, it doesn't bother me. I can skim over the thread titles and not engage with things I find boring, distasteful, a bit too niche.

neiljames77 · 30/04/2014 14:43

I'm not the sort who sees a thread, reads and runs. Another poster has already stool my thunder anyway. It must be a real strain for MNHQ to see if someone's a regular poster. Once they'd got wind of yet another poo thread though, they must set the wheels in motion to make sure they're not just dumping a thread on some trumped up charge.

LangenFlugelHappleHoff · 30/04/2014 14:46

nieljames77 not sure if stool my thunder was intended but I giggled any way Grin

Langen read again, the whole post was pun city.

LangenFlugelHappleHoff · 30/04/2014 15:07

Whoops Blush this is why you should not wslk and Mn, such a nitwit!

Bravo niel

neiljames77 · 30/04/2014 15:23

Langen - It's not a good idea to log on when you're out walking anyway. Your movement could cause you to bump into a lamppost.

I'm not sure why folk are getting so upset. I've seen much worse on here and, at the end of the day (or at anytime of the day really... I'm a before breakfast kinda girl) we all appreciate the satisfaction of a good poo don't we?

LangenFlugelHappleHoff · 30/04/2014 15:30

Change lamppost for wheelie bins and it's been done and a tree and a dead bird and a car

it's a good thing I can't drive! Grin

Hi Everyone, thanks for your comments.

I can see why some people might think this is TMI and I did think about posting this in the health section, but thought people might find it amusing to find this topic the subject of an AIBU. Smile So, not trolling at all, a post that's serious on one level, as I'm genuinely curious to know how my feelings/experiences compare with others on this subject, but also hoping to get some humorous responses, as the humour on this forum is one of the reasons I joined MN.

Vagabond - thanks for the tip re aloe vera - I might try that.

To the poster who said a avoiding junk food etc is just common sense - yes, totally agree. I had just got into bad habits, comfort eating the wrong food through the winter, and am now making an effort to put that right.

TBH, I thought it was mainly just boys/men who get so pleased when they produce 'torpedoes', but I'm now seeing why they find the whole thing quite satisfying! Grin

For those squeamish types, I promise not to upload the photos... which will of course be printed, framed and given pride of place on the mantelpiece Grin Also, rest assured the toilet is cleaned regularly, (which is just as well as DH is a 3 a day dumper).
