To feel so much better after emptying my bowels?

Defenbaker · 30/04/2014 02:53

To give a little background, I've never been very regular... sometimes it could be 2 or 3 days between bowel movements. However, I've recently been eating more fruit and less junk food, in an effort to lose weight, so I'm getting more regular now and feeling much better for it. In fact, two days running I've passed what could accurately be described as mini torpedoes, and afterwards I feel SO much better! Grin

I can now understand why some people have colonic irrigation, though I've never been brave foolhardy enough to try it.

YANBU. And seeing as we're giving TMI on this thread, can I just say that after 37 years I'm getting REALLY BORED of wiping my arse. Not that I'm going to stop or even skimp on it, but having to do it every day is starting to grate. Maybe I wouldn't mind a 2-3 day break of being bunged up!

pinkdelight · 30/04/2014 09:01

Maybe it's since having DC and wiping their arses. It's used up all my lifetime's arsewiping boredom threshold.

Is it just me? If so, as you were. Sorry to digress.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 30/04/2014 09:02

As long as you didn't leave skids

BigArea · 30/04/2014 09:10

I really cannot understand posters complaining about the content of
this thread - the clue was in the title, if you don't want to read about poo, don't open the thread unless you want to read about it purely so that you can then complain about it

ephemeralfairy · 30/04/2014 09:13

Yanbu!
And I cannot recommend colonic irrigation highly enough :-)

isitsnowingyet · 30/04/2014 09:17

BigArea yes I did want to complain about it. And I think doing colonic irrigation is both bonkers and dangerous

frogslegs35 · 30/04/2014 09:56

OP - you are soooo NBU :)

fecking tramadol

Shockers · 30/04/2014 10:15

Why bonkers and dangerous isitsnowingyet?

:o to everyone telling the op off. The subject matter is as clear as you like. Don't want to discuss shite at this time of day? Then exit the thread and be on your way!

Cornettoninja · 30/04/2014 11:10

pinkdelight mix it up a bit - time yourself, hoik a leg up on the bathtub, bend to touch your toes and wipe Grin

SarcyMare · 30/04/2014 11:11

BigArea fully agree, was going to ask the same myself

pinkdelight · 30/04/2014 11:13

Cheers Cornetto! You know how to keep the magic alive :)

Why is this in AIBU? Surely OP doesn't seriously think anyone is going to say this is unreasonable?

Op I am very pleased about your new improved bowel movementsGrin, but TMI

YourMaNoBraBackOfMyCar · 30/04/2014 12:33

The stuff that gets posted here at times makes this thread pale in comparison. This shits tame.

bonzo77 · 30/04/2014 12:49

YANBU. My poor miserable constipated cat had an enema this morning. She also thinks YANBU.

FrankUnderwood · 30/04/2014 12:51

YADNBU!

nomorequotes · 30/04/2014 12:53

your i liked your little rhyme.

Misspilly88 · 30/04/2014 13:05

Try the Dorset cereals fruity muesli for breakfast too, it's magic!

MargotLovedTom · 30/04/2014 13:10

Aw c'mon, it's not like the thread title contains a lavish description of the OP's poop now is it, or a handy photo? Surely reading the word bowels wouldn't put anyone off their bagel, or any other food stuff?

Thank God not everyone is so squeamish or there wouldn't be a single nurse or HCA in the country.

LadyGooGoo · 30/04/2014 13:16

Few things are as under-rated as a good poo, and few things more over-rated than a bad fuck

Quote of the week Grin

TheCuriousOwl · 30/04/2014 13:19

I second that, LadyGooGoo!

I've been doing the same as the OP after years of bowel issues, and this time for the first time it is working :D
