To think Mumsnetters are actually quite lovely actually?

I'm relatively new to this site but can honestly say that whenever I have posted a problem I only ever get lovely supportive replies. I only wish that I had found you when I was TTC and pregnant as I might actually have had more of a clue about how babies actually behave rather than what the books tell me I should be doing (I'm looking at you Gina Ford!!)

I've also followed threads where the poster is quite obviously struggling and the support they get is overwhelming.

And if people post about first world problems like babies eating Greggs and 5 months old being sexualised by console cables they are quite rightfully told to get a grip.

That is all!

Not sure about the others.

windchime · 28/04/2014 19:22

I am completely evil. It is the only place I can be evil and get away with it.

magimedi · 28/04/2014 19:27

I'm on here over a year ( few name changes ) and everyone has been lovely to me

I never feel lonely anymore. I think I have normal life and people are so open on here, we are all sailing in the same boat. Maybe on a different course but no one has it too easy.

It's helped me so much through my pregnancy and with a new baby.

yegodsandlittlefishes · 28/04/2014 20:58

Nothing better than mumsnet, ever my dd can do a snake sound, so I was always destined to be one of the vipers! Hilarious and sad and crazy and fabulous.

IsChippyMintonExDirectory · 28/04/2014 21:48

YANBU. I think MN is full of awesome people and since I've joined I've laughed non stop. I think there are v few PO people and that when people do disagree the bitching is kept to a minimum and concise arguments are put forward or maybe I just miss the interesting threads

This place is NOTHING compared to babycentre, the AIBU and WYOO boards are like a meeting of Twatheads Anonymous

yegodsandlittlefishes · 28/04/2014 22:05

You and me both, littlegreengloworm

PacificDogwood · 28/04/2014 22:13

candycoatedwaterdrops · 28/04/2014 22:18

I luff you all. Well, only some of you and it's more of a hair ruffling affectionate sort-of thing but you know what I mean. Wink

ZingWatermelon · 28/04/2014 22:32

candy

I luffs ya as well

MyFirstName · 29/04/2014 08:50

Me! Me! Me! Well, actually I am OK...but what I was trying to say was that I have had the most amazing support on here. Occasionally told to get a grip (when deserved). One particular issue I have has had me in tears with the utter wonderfulmarvellousness (real word) of the kindness and support.

I thank you all Flowers

CommanderShepard · 29/04/2014 08:57

Mumsnet has sorted me out on countless occasions - held my hair back during HG, supported me through AND, helped me with breastfeeding and cheered me on to get my dream job. I love the vipers.
