To suggest the next mn campaign targets views on invisible disabilities

That. I don't really have much more to say in my OP Grin

Yet another thread here (and I consider 'mn the collective' quite clued up in general about this) moaning about people having time off work with a long term health issue. It's far from the first and I'd guess far from the last.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks rowan, only just seen this. Will have a look at your links asap :)

I've done a similar campaign for a very large global organisation and I currently also work for a mental health charity, so if I can support I would love to.

I have several non-visible conditions that I get very little support for and cannot get access to disabled spaces/loos or benefits even though I really need them.

I contacted Transport for London to ask whether they would consider introducing a badge for people with invisible disabilities (like the 'baby on board' badges)

They said they're thinking about it - that was a while ago so maybe now, with a new mayor who hopefully cares a bit more about disabled people than the last one, a little push from MN/people on MN might give them the impetus to actually do it?
