To wonder if anyone slept properly last night

I had a horrendous night last night, virtually no sleep at all. Everyone I have spoken to today says the same, is there something in the air? Other than the Saharan dust?

clairemum22 · 03/04/2014 19:56

Me too bowlersarm!

newsecretidentity · 03/04/2014 19:57

Yep, crappy night last night as well as the three nights previous. Dragging now!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/04/2014 19:58

Awful night here too - DCs wouldn't settle, were up in the night and then up at 5.30 this morning. DH and I slept badly in between that.

I did wonder whether it was the pollution.

Glossolalias · 03/04/2014 19:58

I generally have insomnia and slept one of my best nights ever for the past 6 months last night!

RummidgeGeneral · 03/04/2014 19:59

Bad night here too. I put it down to taking decongestents too near bedtime.

PrinceRogersNelson · 03/04/2014 20:00

I slept badly last two nights, but I have my period so never sleep well then.

Owllady · 03/04/2014 20:01

I must hAve git up about 5 times to use the toilet
Which is miles away, on another floor

ToriaPumpkin · 03/04/2014 20:01

Bad night here too, heavily pregnant and full of a cold I can't take anything for. I spent at least an hour between 1 and 2 trying out different positions for my neck and throat to see if they made it any easier to breathe.

indigo18 · 03/04/2014 20:01

Took hours to get to sleep then slept fitfully and woke early. Have bad cough and dust not helping.

BeyondIsBloodOfTheDragon · 03/04/2014 20:02

Hang on, I'm one of those who had a good night last night (the prior three, not so much), but I'm sure I saw a facebook post about "the loudest thunder ever" at 2.30am?

I shall investigate forthwith...

spiderlight · 03/04/2014 20:06

I slept really well, apart from a horrible dream about DH throwing me out for ever on Christmas day for being 'Vast and tent-like' (I am neither...I hope!)

Prometheus · 03/04/2014 20:06

DS has asthma and usually coughs a lot in the night which keeps me awake. However, last night we all slept through, with no coughing, until almost 7am (which is a mega lie-in). And we have sahara dust everywhere here (car and house windows are covered).

BelleOfTheBorstal · 03/04/2014 20:07

I got to bed at one, then woke up at three/three thirty. I had really bad indigestion.

scrivette · 03/04/2014 20:08

I couldn't sleep either and typically the dog and DS slept through all night but I was awake for about two hours - most unlike me.

BeyondIsBloodOfTheDragon · 03/04/2014 20:10

Aha. Aliens on twitter. Obviously it was aliens.

I generally sleep badly, but was worse than usual list night. I did have had bad news yesterday though, so assume its that.

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 03/04/2014 20:12

I had a terrible sleep due to my newborn but when I should have been drifting off between feeds I found myself panicking about the Ebola outbreak ! That's what sleep deprivation does to you I suppose

CloverHeart · 03/04/2014 20:13

Woke once an hour, every hour without fail. Maybe the pollution did get to me Confused

LineRunner · 03/04/2014 20:17

I was woken at 3am and taken by grey creatures in shiny silver suits to a spacecraft where I was probed up me bum till morning, and then they dropped me off back home.

changeforthebetter · 03/04/2014 20:18

DD took 4 hours to go to sleep last night Sad

ExcuseTypos · 03/04/2014 20:19

I had a dreadful night sleep. I have got a cold but I've also got a sore throat and cough which only seem to happen at night.

Onsera3 · 03/04/2014 20:20

Bad night (week!) for DS and us.

ExcuseTypos · 03/04/2014 20:20

LineRunner- have you got their number? I could do with a bit of probing.
