Its all well and good- I watched it alone. At one AM. I was writing an essay on infanticide. The tv turned itself off, I was a little freaked out :)

There's a IPod or something in the room I am sleeping, it just switches on and off when it fancies, gives me a fright when it's dark... especially if the squirrels are scrabbling about in the attic as well.

That's without watching scary things too.

My mind turns it into a ghastly spirit who wants revenge. Any minute now something long black and furry will slip through cracks in the ceiling and reach towards me as I am reading my book, unaware... I don't notice it, but instead the sudden light of the Ipod brightening the room. Don't be so silly, I'd say, it's just a fault somewhere, nothing to be afraid of. Until I notice the shadow of the now many jointed, long black furry thing. Gasping I would turn around only to see that at the end of the monstrous thing was razor sharp claws. Squealing I'd dive off the bed, with the claw narrowly missing my head. Crawling along blindly, I'd try to exit the room, only to find more dangling... what's that? Legs, legs of a enormous creature pushing through the ceiling and flailing about. And now they are nearly reaching the floor, my safe harbour, I need to move. I run grabbing the brush nearby and swatting at the horrible creature, running out through the front door, I heave a sigh of relief.

And then wake up... cursing my imagination.
