To be really tired of seeing Kim Kardashian's big arse every time I open a paper?

Just sick of it! If she's not displaying it herself in semi pornographic poses then photographers are doing their best to capture it from angles that make it look absolutely massive. I don't give the Kardashian clan too much consideration but I have no choice but to be aware of KK when every time I open a paper there's her fat arse stuck out of it!

I actually think the trend for celebrating big bums is great and I totally applaud any woman for being proud of her bum, rather than hating it. I am not taking the mick out of KK for being fat, not in the slightest.

(Although I should also add no one should feel miserable about their body or that it doesn't match up – making big bums the "in thing" and women feeling they have to pad their bums, have fillers etc. is no better than everyone feeling they should have a skinny arse. I hate all that "real women have curves" shit, we are all real women.)

What is making me gawp at KK is the fact that a) she seems obsessed with showing off her bum and the media are lapping it up - it's not bullying to find it amazing that someone can make an actual career out of that. And b) that her bum is starting to look so modified that it's pushing the boundaries of what looks human, and it's interesting to discuss why some women do this. We often discuss on here people who've felt the need to take facial surgery so far that they clearly look bizarre. It's not bullying to find that interesting or remarkable.

There are people out there with bums as big as kk, I saw some today. Some people have exaggerated pear shapes and bums that do stick out to that degree.

hers has got bigger though and none of her sisters have the same shape which is odd.

You are all missing the 'important' point that KimK used to be Paris Hilton's best friend. That's how she first tasted fame. Then she was on her (PH's) show as her stylist. Then came the sex tape with Ray J (Brandy's brother, also the boyfriend of Witney Houston when she died)...

... which Kim's mother helped her to sell. They're basically a very celebby-connected family who have leveraged the sex tape to extreme levels of fame and fortune, all masterminded by the mother, Kris Kardashian.

Why the hell do I know all this? I am honestly a bright, educated, busy person. I have never seen an episode of The Simple Life (Paris' show), or any of the Kardashian shows, yet I know all the above. Odd.

I do think Kim's probably had fat injections in her bum or something equally ridiculous fwiw, it just pisses me off that there are people who do have bums that big and sticky-out due to their body shape and it is horrid to read gleeful mocking by other women.

I can never understand these threads slagging other women off for the way they look/choose to look.

Yet it's the media and men who generally get the blame for women/young girls having body issues.

I am not slagging off the way she looks. I am saying I do not wish to see her arse every time I turn a page. It could be tiniest most attractive arse in the world and I still wouldn't want to see it as part of my daily routine! I'm not sure what is so hard to understand about that.
