Mine is Freddie Jackson "rock me for old time sake" which was our first dance at our wedding 19 years ago, and also one of the first songs my DH played when we went on our first date.

If I had to pick just one it has to be GreenDay Good Riddance (Time of Your Life). It has a lot of resonance (when shit happens I try to focus on "its something unpredictable, but in the end its right" And I had a period when shit happened a lot!) and has become a kind of family song. I have always sung it to my DS (nearly 3) and it still calms him and he is starting to join in a bit now :) Saw GreenDay live a few years ago and it was the best gig ever! Just hearing this song live gave me goosebumps.

I also love Karma Chameleon (1st single i bought), American Pie, Sweet Child O'Mine, Summer of 69 and lots of Bon Jovi (cannot narrow that down!)
