[thanks] ( sensitive) should MN change the wording to flowers

I may be the only one that thinks that the wording is wrong.

If someone post about abuse, miscarriage r baby loss and you do this Thanks there is nothing to say thanks for.

Of course if you get good advice it appropriate but on sensitive issues I really don't think it's appropriate to say thanks.

Flowers was added about a year ago, I think, for the reaso. OP said - it's weird to type thanks when you want to give sympathy flowers etc.

you can type flowers and still get Flowers you dont need to type thanks and it is the sentiment rather than the wording you are expressing

Why does it matter? I thought you only see the image and not the word in the post? Or have I inadvertently thanked sad posts?
