Some stupid bloody woman in work asked me when the baby was due. I am not pregnant (have 6 yr old and 2 yr old) and am mortified.

I am a bit over my favourite weight and my tummy does stick out a bit! But FFS, would you ever ask?
Gutted! I was having a fat day too as can't seem to lose the last half a stone :(

My dd aged 3 said loudly in a wedding ceremony 'is the lady having a baby' as the beautiful very slender bride was side on to the witnesses

That was due to her thinking all marriages are because of babies, clearly a fan of shot gun weddings, but i could have wept Confused

Alpacalypse. I had that happen to me too. Several years ago I met a couple at a party who I know had been expecting a baby. I was wondering where the bump was and assumed they must have had it. I asked them about baby and they had lost it. I was mortified so now I never ask unless the woman states herself that she is expecting!

Plus I can name several women I know who look like they could be pregnant including myself but I know they're not so best just to keep quiet!

It's very cathartic reading about the number of people who will never ever ever comment about obvious perceived pregnancies GrinBlush

When I was pregnant, nobody asked me for AGES.

Since he has been born, I've been asked TWICE!!! Luckily I've been able to say 'no, but I do have a small baby' who just so happens to be 8 months old

Got me back on the slimming world wagon though!

I had one of my doctors ask me how far along I was, when I was on the ward post partum, cooing over my baby in the cot next to me. To be fair I had blown up like a balloon after the EMCS, but still.

Second pregnancy I had a bit of fun with it, and when people asked how far on I was and tried to rub my bump, I'd say "I'm not pregnant, I just like cake" just to see their faces! Grin
