YADNBU Grin Our border collie gets put in the downstairs shower cubicle from time to time.

She has to be told to (she's obedient but you do have to say it a few times, and there's a bit of door blocking to stop her running away) but once she's in there she actually quite likes it and stays put. I just squirt some bleach around afterwards but I'm not too fussy.

There's a rubber mat on the bottom so no claw problems. Lots of fuss and towels after her shower, and she's realised it's better than the bath which she hates (though she'll still get in the bath if we tell her to, bless).

I do draw the line if she's rolled in fox poo though - that means a hose down in the garden with washing up liquid.

One of my neighbours has three lovely labs. We live by fields and a small wood where she walks them daily (usually wearing fishing wader type trousers and boots). A few summer's ago she had a side extension built and told me one morning it was a shower room for the dogs Grin

Mine have always gone in the bath/shower upstairs, though in summer I sometimes use a solar shower in the garden.

Or ginbin64 those not interested in dog threads could just not open them. Just a thought.
