To give up on Breaking Bad on the middle of Season 5?

I tried to enjoy it / bore with it at the start, got into it before first season was out and am now bored - having found it difficult to focus ok it without doing two things at once --reading magazines, face booking, MNing (hence missing important story-threads).

I got a bit bored in the middle of season 5 but stuck with it and it was worth it- the final few episodes were particularly good.

How anyone could be bored by the first series dumbfounds me- I found it totally compelling.

But there again loads of people rave about Mad Men which I thouight was a total snoozefest.

I watched it all in about 5 weeks

tbh I was starting to get a little bored and wanting it to end I think watching it like that was a little to intense though I have never found that with other series

I much prefer The Sopranos and for me the best series ever is The Wire

I can't wait to watch True Detective and The Following but do not have sky :( though thinking of getting a Now box

It's about the journey of one man from Mr chips to scarface in the words of the good that is vince gilligan, the creator.

The plot is... Mild named chemistry teacher gets cancer so starts cooking some top quality meth in order to leave his family money as he's only been given a couple of years to live.

And then it goes off in some pretty amazing directions.

Best thing I've ever seen. I wish I hadn't seen it yet and I was one of those people who have it all to come sob

I found Mad Men boring too

I like more high drama violence, drugs, gangsters in the series I watch :)

Orange is the New Black was good, not great but good

laregina - 1st ever episode of the wire is terrible. I only watched the second episode weeks later because I had paid hard cash for the box set and had limited tv/dvd options at the time. The rest of series 1 is amazing and so is series 2, 3 and 4. Please do try it again.

Just finished the last episode of BB It was intense, we've been watching 1-3 episodes every night! May have a tiny crush on Jesse.

I loved it, just watched Heat and Saul was in it - he looked sooo different I had to close my eyes and listen to his voice to recognise who he was. I didn't know Saul was getting his own series - bring it on
