Just wondering why there is such lack of will by political classes of all types

To make absent parents pair there fair share my ds is 14 and I have had now over the years I was once offered £5 a week by the CSA but I was told that I would have to provide NI details, bank details ECt for ex Confused how would I get that from a ex

if I didn't feed or my child warm ss would class this as neglect but this is pretty much tolerated from a absent parent

There seems to be no real sanctions and if you are lucky to get them to pay the amount is tiny which makes me laugh

i think a lot of welfare issues could be sorted if absent parent was made to pay there share
Many rely on welfare because the absent parent is not doing there share.

My auntie lives in the states and her ex was jailed for 3 months until he paid his child supported he still refused so a order was made his home and car was sold what was owed was given to her and the change to him

He now pays his child support on time every month

Sorry just having a rant

Can't risk it meep although I've told him to shove a financial breakdown where the sun doesn't shine.

If I challenge the payments he'll just return to malicious Ss complaints and take me back to court to try and destroy me and get custody. Not that he wants it mind, just enjoys controlling me. I can't afford a solicitor still paying the legal aid contributions from last time for the crappy solicitor I had.

I too judge those women who allow their partners to ignore children financially or physically. Especially when they have children themselves.

It would be a deal breaker for me.

I'm glad you've refused the request of a financial breakdown. He pays £40 a month, that wouldn't even cover 1 day of childcare in my DDs nursery!!

How exactly does he think his DD has fed, clothed, has a roof over her head if you aren't paying? What a grade A tool he sounds.

It makes my blood boil hearing ExPs still trying to maintain a level of control by using children. He sounds like he'd get on quite well with my ExH.

I didnt make the rules, just telling how it is.

My ndn was white and working cash in hand,as are most people who dont pay. There is a whole world of employment for people who will work cash in hand, very few people stick.

There is a system for working out what you owe. If you earn a low wage you pay a low amount. If you quit your job to dodge paying or move to a lower paying job to reduce payments you dont get away with it.

While in jail you keep accruing arrears and they WILL get it from you at some point. The agencies talk here, makes it easier.

May not be fair to support dodgers but hey thems the breaks
