just because the indian restaurant didn't bring his onion bhajis!

Rather than enjoying a lovely takeaway meal together (a rare treat for us) my DP has spent the last 25 minutes on the phone to the restaurant complaining. To clarify we were not charged for these although i did hear him ordering them. A simply mistake, annoying, but worth ruining the whole night over? After setting the table and lighting candles i ended up sitting there alone with my tikka massala listening to him on the phone in the other room. AIBU to feel this gutted? He's staring at the tv now with his meal on his lap (cold) whilst i have decided to vent on here rather than at him!

Worra was on a fish thread in chat (probably gone now) that had me constantly clicking refresh because those fish puns were doing me good Grin

I'm crap at them so I admire the skill greatly in a poster.

It pisses me off when people do this.

My very dearest friend is like this, and has been known to bring a whole evening down by a) complaining loudly and for far too long about something inconsequential b) mentioning it in a very loud voice when any serving staff pass, such as "Oh THEY great bread!!! Shame WE didnt!" and expecting others to make appropriate agreeing noises and c) going on and on and on about it.

The other musketeer in our group called her out one it once and now she makes a big thing of not complaining because it will piss us 2 off, which is just as bad! So now we only do evenings at home.

And to join in, I assume someone has already suggested he should tikka chill pill?

Ha ha - funny, thread - he had probably been looking forward to those barjees all day. Sounds a bit stressed to me.

Bogeyface - I've got a friend like that too
Always orders the exact same thing & if it's not on that night she can't cope
& god forbid if they change the menu
Puts a downer on the night if she's in a bad mood
But otherwise lovely so still worth it
