I want

someone to read the stuff on my college reading list and summarise it for me. Because I CBA.

An everlasting supply of earl grey

A really, really good nights sleep

A ski holiday (haven't been since before dc and is an expense I couldn't possibly justify now)

Elfhame · 18/01/2014 11:51

What women want is as diverse as what men want. Most mothers, however, need more sleep.

Eve can do pombear emoticons and knows one of the old ways to do blank posts

That's the old way? Is there a new way? Now I'm all behind again.

Chaucer tackled this question in "The Wife of Bath's Tale", eveonlinemistress. This is what he came up with:

 "Wommen desiren to have sovereynetee
As wel over hir housbond as hir love,
And for to been in maistrie hym above.

This is youre mooste desir, thogh ye me kille.

Dooth as yow list; I am heer at youre wille."
In al the court ne was ther wyf, ne mayde,
Ne wydwe that contraried that he sayde,

I hope that helps.

I want to go to the gym but I keep chickening out. As a result I'm still sat here in my pjs at 12.30pm on Mumsnet and I'm not even a mum.

I WILL go to the gym honest!
