Tonight- sausages, mash, onions, gravy, peas, broccoli, carrots and Yorkshire puddings. That's more like it!

Joysmum · 15/01/2014 18:22

Blackholes I'm coming to yours for dinner. Hubby is feeling yuck so doesn't want anything. I can't be arsed to cook for just me so it's either something quick or takeaway and I don't fancy either.

Chicken and vegetable soup with crusty bread - soup was homemade

Pasta was added to dc's soup to hide the veg . The little sods darlings spotted it from the front garden, picked out the pasta and chicken, and then hoovered up the crusty bread.

Sitting beside veg is one of your five a day right? Hmm

FuckingWankwings · 15/01/2014 18:37

I've no fricking idea. Totally uninspired, don't have much in and can't be arsed going to the shops.

Have been stuffing self with mini poppadums and chocolate chip cookies all afternoon and am on a definite crappy-food tip. Talc, your dinner sounds like the bee's knees to me right now Grin

Pasta and pesto, it'll probably be. Dull dull dull.

EduCated · 16/01/2014 11:23

Or perhaps he could cook. Just a thougt. Don't want to be too radical.

Aw thanks Beespantry my hubby will be delighted by that, and I can perform my housewifely duties safe in the knowledge that he's not yet had to trouble himself to find out where the pesky pots and pans live. In a 16 year relationship that's some accomplishment, I'm sure you'll agree! Smile
