Sat in the staff room tucking into a kiwi, like you do, or rather like I do...chomping it like an apple. Everyone was horrified! Apparently you eat it with a spoon like a boiled egg... I can see why, the skin is minging but I alwa?s thought it was worth it for the delicious flesh. My family all eat it that way, never occurred to me there was anything odd about, I thought it was just the way it had to be done.

I'm really paranoid now there are other things I'm doing that are weird and disgusting. Please post your own experiences so I can tick them off the list.

scottish that's another for my weird list then as I always have to have a bath before bed and my dc have a bath every night before bed to.

MadeOfStarDust · 10/01/2014 09:44

I don't eat chocolate... gives me cramps in my gut so I DON'T EAT CHOCOLATE -

MIL - that includes chocolate cake, Roses, and cocoa.. and yes... even the Green and Blacks good stuff..

Hang on, how often does everyone wash their sheets? I do it fortnightly and although I shower some nights before bed I don't do it every night. Am I really gross? oh god.

MeepMeepVrooooom · 10/01/2014 09:50

I drink my tea with my teabag in the cup and people think that's weird. Don't really understand why, I like really strong tea.

Joysmum · 10/01/2014 09:52

I'm terrible for eating uncooked things out of the packet, like pasta and super noodles and powdered soup and hot choc.

Hubby and I shower before going to sleep as we are both one of those weird people that like to shower together after sex plus I don't like being squidgy Grin

When reading a book, I hate to finish reading on a page ending with a 0 or 8 Blush

MeepMeepVrooooom · 10/01/2014 09:55

The volume on the TV can't be on an odd number either...

Tea, sugar, coffee jars have to face the front and their lids all in the same direction but that's just good sense.

BananaNotPeelingWell · 10/01/2014 09:57

I prefer soup to be only lukewarm not hot. I don't like any hot drinks either.

I read magazines from the back to the front.

HappilyChatterly · 10/01/2014 09:57

I have a Clark Gable biography that I bought at a charity shop, it's in extra large print. I'm saving it until I'm elderly...

I eat clotted cream neat, straight from the tub.
And if I start drinking a coffee can sip at it for hours even when it's gone stone cold.

And I like scrambled eggs and baked beans together, lots of people balk at that - think it's a textural thing?

MadeOfStarDust · 10/01/2014 09:57

we wash sheets once to twice a week-ish.... tend to do one bed a week-day in rotation....

HappilyChatterly · 10/01/2014 09:58

I bought it when I was 18.

HollaAtMeBaby · 10/01/2014 09:58

I eat out of date food... also keep tissues in my sleeve!

WilsonFrickett · 10/01/2014 10:03

I can't be in the house with a browning banana. Can't even have it downstairs if I'm upstairs. It makes bananas a point of tension in our house.

PumpkinPositive · 10/01/2014 10:04

Left foot break. And water down soup.

hairymonkey · 10/01/2014 10:04

I like baked beans on toast with Parmesan Tabasco and mayonnaise. That's my hangover breakfast .

FatAssPantaloons · 10/01/2014 10:07

I bite my fingernails and eat them. Soz.

My face did an involuntary grimace at sucking the teabag.

Actually 'sucking the teabag' sounds like an unsavoury sex practice.

FatAssPantaloons · 10/01/2014 10:07

Oh and I vacuum twice a day.

Blithereens · 10/01/2014 10:09

your I change mine fortnightly and shower in the morning. It's fine.

Oh, volume! TV has to be on a 0 or a 5 number. Video games have to be stacked in order of which console they're for, but in symmetrical piles, which causes me a lot of angst!

I won't have magnets on the fridge because I like to wipe it down every day. I mentioned this to a friend and she said, 'Why would anyone clean the outside of their fridge?' That's not weird though, right? She's just a minger Grin

MajesticWhine · 10/01/2014 10:09

I eat a mixture of cereals together. I will put vinegar on anything. I like ham on toast. In restaurants I have been known to order a starter for my dessert. I keep tampons in my bra.
Antoinette - I do that with the recycling too. You are completely normal.

HappilyChatterly · 10/01/2014 10:12

I love a cheese batch (roll/cob) with a dollop of smash in it with loads of vinegar on the smash. Nummy nummy nummy.

As a kid I ate banana and beetroot sandwiches but had to have it on brown bread one day and it was gross but I forced myself to eat it as if I didn't finish it, no pudding! Put me right off.

OP posts:
Foxsticks · 10/01/2014 10:16

I love eating bisto best straight from the jar.

Sucking a teabag and toddler eating dog sucked toast did make me scrunch my nose up im afraid Grin

HappilyChatterly · 10/01/2014 10:21

I'd be scared to suck a tea bag incase it ripped open! I'm guessing it's the thrill of danger that's turning all you teabag suckers on.

Eating the kiwi skin is weird and gross!!!

I can happily eat leftovers as long as they haven't been on the plate, so if they have stayed in the pan or takeaway carton I will put in the fridge and eat the next day but if I've only eaten half a plateful I can't put that in the fridge and eat the next day.

I can never drink the bottom of a bottle of drink, makes me feel sick.

Foxsticks · 10/01/2014 10:24

It's interesting that of all these disgusting things teabag sucking is the worst so far - well done saucia!
