Grin @ 15

Mind you, ds twists me round his little finger aged 10, I probably will be singing Soft Kitty when he's 15 if he requests it... #failedstrictmother

My 20 year old DD and me sing it to each other if we're feeling under the weather,

I also sing it to my cats all the time Grin

More trivia about Soft Kitty ( wasn't sure if it was a real song so had to look it up!)

It was oft-repeated on Australian "Play School." For example, at 18:25. Charming little song, but my toddler always says "wuff wuff!" at the end of it.

like a few on here sing it to my actual kitty cat. He is in fact very warm and soft. Sometimes I put my face right in front of his and sing it. Or nuzzle him like a mummy cat . And I swear to God, my cat is named after a character from Big Bang.

Hard Dalek
Cold Dalek
Little Can of Hate
Evil Dalek
Angry Dalek
Ex-ter-min-ate...

Saw it on an internet meme and I'm teaching it to No. 1. Nephew.

Ha, DH actually sang it to DS on the tube on the way home this afternoon...

I introduced him to BBT at Xmas the boxset arrived this week, the man's obsessed already after only finding out about it due to you lot.
DS asked for 'kitty song' because he was sleepy...

AmberLeaf · 09/01/2014 01:03

jaabaar · 09/01/2014 01:59

Wow - just read the wiki page and didn't realise it's based on a little polish rhyme I also sing to DD. Sang it to DP and asked is this the same tune and he said yes!!! Just shows how unmusical I am that I never noticed!2
